Plasma or LED is your best bet. I prefer plasma. I have a Panasonic G-10 and love it. In my opinion plasma looks better and has better blacks.

My 1st solo trip with a friend was at 17. My friend and I took our stand up Jet Ski's to Havasu for the weekend. I started pulling my dad water skiing at 12 years old so I had quite a bit of experience being on the water. I am pretty sure thats why my parents let me go.

Well does not look like that head unit is gonna work anymore. Do what propless said to check voltages. You can get a mini to rca adapter and hook an Ipod, sat radio, or whatever straight to the amp. I pulled a wire off my ignition and thew a switch on it and hooked it up to the remote turn on solved the problem of turning the amp on and off (just remember to turn it off when not in use). Hope the finger is ok and you get it figured out.

Always run same size power and grounds. Check out this website it has a ton of information also see what they say about caps

Don't waste the money on a cap. Get bigger power and ground wire. 8 awg is to small for 600 watts not to mention your running about 15 feet or so. Another thing is to upgrade the size wire from your battery to the block and alternator. Try a google search for "Big 3 Car Audio". I seriously don't suggest wasting money on a cap.

Its kinda relative to how you want it to sound and how ya install it. If you want to hear it when the boat is running adding the 8's wont help. That setup should give ya decent sound as long as its installed correct.
