got the cables all installed tonight. Put the bulkhead cable seals in from JBP. I like them, they look great-

what are all the blue an fittings for on the tunnel ram???

I was wondering the same thing...

I read up on a jet boat engine build several months ago where the guy ran NOS but plumed it all under the tunnel ram where you couldent see it. It was sneaky. Anyone out there have any info on that?

made some new fuel tank brackets, the old ones were hacktackular!

got a bunch done over the weekend. I forgot to take pictures until i was done. here is a hit list of what got done:

ran all control cables
mounted throttle, place and forward reverse
laid carpet
carpeted new seat bases
90% done on re-wiring boat

engine went in on Sunday...

been busy getting stuff done, here is the trailer from paint. I got it all put back together and the boat back on it.



re-made everything out of trex rather than wood.

It was like christmas morning today when I got home, I got a load of stuff...

Check it out, I made a new seat base out of the composite wood, It is a lot stronger, wont rot but it does way about 3x's as much as the wood one that was in its place. What do you guys think? I am obviously trying to add as little weight as possible if any at all, but this thing will last forever....

took out the carpet today and found the floor was in real nice shape. The seat bases are a little rough and were breaking away from the floor so I will make this where I start putting everything back together. I plan on remaking the bases this week and laying new carpet. I will send more photos when I get more things done.

I am waiting on a ton of parts from Jet boat performance so this project will keep me busy till I get them.

I also found out that the bow is filled with spray in foam, Is this something I should leave or take out? The reason I ask is the Brendella boat project on this site, the owner mentioned taking it out. Love to hear some feedback on that topic-

You could start by removing all the hardware in the bilge area relocate the fuel pump pull out all the wire from that mess and run it on the left side of the boat up under the gunnel

yeah that photo was last week, I gutted everything and am starting over. I am making a plate that will mount by the battery and it will hold the breaker for the alternator, remote solenoid and the MSD box. I think I have a good game plan but want to hear and see what else has been done out there.

the boat is in real nice shape but it has several things that could be done better. Wiring, plumbing and clean up work. I took the motor out and started to clean the hull. I am not in love with the motor mounting system, it allows for too much movement and the pan is touching the hull.

I will post more pics soon, It was a decent start, at one point someone put some time into it but we all know what it is like to hit the water with an "unknown"  I plan on cleaning the whole thing, Trailer and all.....

Maybe even a few upgrades...
