sounds like you have been thru alot already. Ditto on the injections. Inversion is nice, but there are decompression set ups availible that work IMO alot better. I bought a neck one on ebay for cheap (a professional rig like th one the doctor rented me at PT).  Since I knew how to use it, I could use it more frequently than the 3 times a week i was going to therapy. Very helpful. Also, lose the gut and get into an excercise program that works your back (walking ferqunetly short distances maybe to start) is really helpful.

You gotta adapt and still move forward and do stuff that you DO enjoy, maybe modified (I have switched from racing Motocross to boating for example) and still do mild trail rides, but the days of full on 6 motos is over officially for me. I still do special events and like to go out to the track with some buddies for fun practice at the track ,but I dont do doubles and I pull off BEFORE my back starts to feel tweaked.

try one of those decompression pain centers therapy places that hits it with therapy, decomprerssion, excersie, acupuncture, PT etc etc .
 I have had a lot of success with acupuncture compbined with massage therapy and PT.  The pills just dont break the pain cycle.

So I am installing ball valve and I look at the garcden hose connector and think that those are cheesy. I am putting in higher pressure line up to the basset t and leave that in there? Nah! Playing with. A brass t and a second valve so I can not have that cheesy garden hose connector in line continuously... will post when igeter done...

31 years so far :-)   I want to know where my place is at a glance (cannot tell with the electric) so I cam switching to a floor mount handle manual set up. My electric one will go on ebay or here under parts (along with the cable).

Well, I wil try to replace the 9 incher without pulling anything. If sucessful, I may use that approach on the 5 incher. Worse case I gues I wil pull the manifolds and get a peek at what I have been ignoring anyways.  Also give me chance to clean up under them from the weeping drool (exhasust bolts loosen each time out). I will also loctitie the heck out of the nuts this time.
Shold I filgure on having a replacement set of exhaust gaskets on hand or will they survive removal without pulling apart in your experience?

ps. I will take pictures for a how to (or in my case, usually  "how not to").
 

so you guys think there is more risk for stuff to break or require replacement by pulling the tips than pulling the manifolds? Sounds to me like a two person job to put the manifolds back on with the end aligned onto the hose and then align it to the bolts.... on the other hand the tips maybe are corroded out where they mount (??) and once I get them off I migtht have work to do to get the studs replaced and redo that area (I hear this might be the case on an old boat with tips thatlook like they are original install). Sheesh. Dang if I do, dang if I dont.  Maybe I can fold the one hose and get it on without pulling wither the tips or the manifold (the 8-9 inch piece). Its the short one I am thinking is going to be the PITA.

Or am I blowing this all up into a big deal when its really easy to pull those manifolds (I wanted to redo the nuts on those anyways as they continually loosen) without damaging the gasket and reseal with the copper gasket and reattach with the hose on the end all by myself.
I need to rent a teenager or get a neighbor to come over I guess. An extra set of hands sounds like the hot set up.

Spent some time looking at how to posts and did not see anything quite like this.
79 tahiti, bbc, panther logs, thru transom exh. The connecting flex hoses are toast (old) and must be replaced.
- one hose is about 5 inches long, the other about 8 or 9 inches (go ahead, let the
jokes may begin).  Any tricks to get these hoses replaced? I hear the shorter one is going to be very difficult.

My sciatica is already killing me thinking about this work.

We sell a bunch of RO (and in some cases DI) to auto detailers, car wash facilities, and window washing biz.  The key is no minerals in the water, creating that "spot free" wash folks want.  One guy has a 33 gallong tank in his truck and has it preessurized and just rinses off his boat when he pulls it from the lake and it dries , ...eh.... spotless.

He prefers a presurized fine nozzle to get the lake smegma off the hull, and when needed wipes really persistant stains with a rag then rinse off with the RO water.  He also uses it to wash his windows at home, and of course his car.

We have a brush spray head here at work for our employees and its amazing how easy it is to keep your car clean by spraying off daily.

Oh yeah, in Arizona in the summer it dries before you can "manually" dry it off.  In the winter we fire up a blower (weed) and blow the excess water off and presto, no more water, no more spots, no more dirt.

when i say sucks current, i mean SUCKS current. The voltage drops to 4 volts when lifting snout, about 6 volts dropping (easier).
