Oh yeah I have seen the log and Hug sand bar on the West side of the bridge, you are usually safe if you keep to the California side of the river. We mostly hang down by Goose flats and do most of our boating down river. We camp at the KOA since its so close to the freeway, last weekend the water was high and we headed up river to the Mayflower, but we had to keep an eye on the water leave once it dropped about a 1 ft 1/2 we split and headed back down. We do a run at least once a day to Mcintyre to get some ice cream for the kids. And if the mrs. is up for it do a run down to Hype hole now thats a nice ride...

Was out there last weekend. took the boat for a run up to Mayflower kicked it with some great peeps up there. Water was high weather was nice and the boat did its job .
I will be heading back out there this weekend to setup the trailer and get situated for the season. Nice camp ground, its under new management again, i swear they change management every season  :sly:.
Sandy beach in one area, and has gas station on water as well as in the parking lot, according to new management all pumps are functional. Has a fenced in dog play ground right next to the lagoon and swimming pool, store and ect...
