When I put the head gaskets on, I made sure all the water jackets lined up and also the same for the new intake gaskets.

Just a shame your gonna ruin a perfectly good boat with a FERD....................Shows what you know, you can't even spell it right

Wow, look at that Billy / ironman is all the way up to 34 posts (post whore)
John, just a thought about the fins. Would it be posible to weld the fins to a small piese of flat plate (to forn an L) than mount them to the top of the ride plate ? That way you could make a few sets and try different shapes and sizes without much work.
BTW, sorry about the drool marks on your pump brace. It just looks cool !!
So for the normal running boat are they worth the $45.00 just to see what they do or forget it?
Found a 25' sleekcraft,BBC,American turbine jet. 4K. My friend is thinking about looking at it.It's very likely that it was originally rigged with a Jacuzzi YJ and now has an American Tubine YJ Energizer kit installed.
Thanx
Thanks for the link crewchief.Interesting, I'm gonna have to go with Jeff and say it looks like a Jac WJ on a Berkeley intake. I took this picture once to show how similar the intake openings were.
Yea that looks like a Berk intake, But it dont look like a Berk pump.
The problem I see would be with a Berk intake you would need to use a loader for a Berk. And with a Jacuzzi pump on there I'm not sure that will work.![]()

Hey Josh the switch worked great. Only prob was figuring a way to mount it to the steering. wasnt hard tho. Hooked the green wire form the diverter to the green on the switch and up was up and down down. One question tho why the power wire not to the ignition. thats where I had it hooked to previously and worked fine. On the hot side of the ignition switch
Someone told me you can just safety wire that nut so it wont fall off. After looking at it I don't think that would be a problem.I've seen quite a few done that way
rod, i think youre getting your numbers mixed up.
you zero the intake....your pump driveshaft will then have +4 degree's. you want to put your motor 1 degree off from that. be either -1 or +1 degree.
putting a 4 degree difference between your motor and pump is way too much.
I don't think the Place Diverter has one of those and the old Jet-o-Vator I took off had holes but no clip.Place Diverter doesn't need one due to the design upgrades, and the jetovator setup you had utilized a stock nozzle so it should have had one, but they do get lost over the years.
Or at least its A good reason to buy your own smokes and not be a bum.
now thats a concept
Blue,Never realized yours was that model, heres what the white and red one in our projects page looked like before he had it repainted
It's a 77 Hondo T-Deck GT Pantera (from what I've been told). Original 454/Jacuzzi WJ.
Here are some pics http://www.socaljetboats.com/index.php?topic=919.msg9936#msg9936
The badges on the side say Hondo Boats, Sylmar
I have searched on-line many times and found about 6-8 GT T-Deck boats but all are V-Drives.
You now know about as much as I do
Thanks for anything you can do.

I believe this is the type that Josh is talking aboutKinda, but not entirley. I was originaly refering to this piece (below) but after looking at and thinking harder about it I believe the gasket may just have to due with factory oil coolers.

Now I am confused.Greg thats a standard chevy oil filter adapter for a chevrolet engine, came on all small block and big block engines from 68?-90 I belive(with the exception of the ones with oil coolers).Do you need to adapt to a different oil filter type or were you looking to install your oil filter remotely?
