It's a 540, 1071. dynoed 944HP W/51 pulley and 1012 W/56 @ 6700RPM. Ran it for the first time last weekend, runs good! Been working on it for over a year and got lots of good info. here on the site. trying to post build in the galleries but keeps kicking back. Trying to attach a photo to this post and it does the same. Any suggestions? will try again. Will drop in at the AVI bash next weekend.

Thanks

Yea, I was hoping to weld a peice on to finish the summer, then take it to MPD. Jack did the original work and I need it to load just a little quicker now with the new motor.

Any local shops fix these? Havasu?  How do these fins effect the pump function?

Thanks!

Does anybody know this shop?

39
Thanks for the interest, I have read that PCV valves from a Volvo were used but can't find info. on those either.  What about a compression fitting to pipe thread as an adapter?

40
I have found kits but none of the valves have have threaded ends on the hose side, anyone know who sells them?

Thanks

Dyno runs only.  e-mail me for build and dyno sheets. The best of internal parts. Professional built, finished in April of this year. You can't build one for this price.   rvrlam@citlink.net

Thanks for the input, I will check the pick up sizes.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Duel electric fuel pump plumbing.
« on: May 20, 2008, 08:17:48 PM »
I am running two 140 mallory electric pumps, can I run the #6 lines from the pumps into a #6 x #10 "T"  to the regulator then carbs?
I am trying to supply greater volume as well as having a fuel supply in the event a pump fails.
It was running out of each pump to their own regulators, then out of one of the regulators into a secondary "out" port of the second regulator.  Tanks did not empty equally.

Thanks

The motor is done,  It made 744 HP @ 7000 RPM. 649 LBS torque @ 4600 RPM.  Running 16% OD.
If you take out 5% you could run on pump gas.
