It seems i have missed out on these for the last 4 years. Only one i have i got from a friend 3 years ago and its about toast. I wish there was a pre order option. With my luck I'll get jammed up at work until 10 o'clock and by the time I'm able to check out the store and place my order they will be sold out again like last year.

I'd pass. If you NEED a boat that big, look for an I/O.

Well i dont really NEED another boat but i have always liked the sleekcraft executive. And as far as an i/o i dont think id ever own another one. Nothing wrong with them just not for me, my dad and i had a 18' searay with the chevy inline 4 and it was a good boat, cheap to use and great on gas but props arnt cheap and we always seemed to have something wrong with the drive.

Well im gonna take him for a ride in the car and drive it like i stole it because im confident in it so i hope he gives the option to take to it the lake for a ride. If not ill probably pass. And yah, it is huge....so big its got a damn refrigerator, bed and 2 couches under the bow. But its what i really wanted after i sold the kona and its what i told my wife id get next. My daughter will be 4 here pretty quick and she loves the water and just finished her second 4 week long swiming class. So im ready for another boat.

Went and looked at it today and im almost sold on it. 24 foot sleek, bbf 460, berk and it seems to be in pretty solid shape. Hes asking 5800 obo which i think is a little steep but im going to be trading my chevelle and hes throwing in some cash on top. What you guys think?

Boats For Sale / Re: Buying a boat in california

I have always called the dmv with the hin and id numbers before going down to look at boats and used license plates for vehicles. they wont volunteer any info when you call but they can confirm or deny questions, so you give the hin and id number and ask if jackoff is the registered owner of said thing and if the numbers match up, if the registration is current, any leins against it and stuff like that. Never had a problem doin that and it saves alot of time if there are any issues.

Yah good idea. Might want to replace all the old cables as well, ive had my throttle cable break and stick, thats no fun, after that my fwd/rev cable broke and that really sucked so better to be safe rhan sorry.

it's not fun cable going bad at 50mph scared the shit out of me spinning out that fast... Changing the cable fixed your issue?

In my case yes. Count your turns from full lock to where it stops, disconnect your cable at the nozzle and make sure the nozzle turns freely both ways then count your turns again at the wheel. If no change then your cables probably bad. Make sure the tube going through your transom didnt come loose and come out of adjustment either. But more than likely its the cable.

I had the same problem happen to me, luckly i was in the no wake zone at a lake. Cable housing had started to seperate and the cable itself had 3 frays in it and was binding up. Turned fine both ways before i launched and as soon as i fired it up i cranked it to the left and started backing out and went to straighten it out and it stopped in the straight position and thats as far as it would go.

You wont shut the F.UCK UP about an orange vest after multiple explanations and your gonna insult my intelligence, and to top it off you constantly question Flusher even though he is one of the smartest guys on here?

Whos the stupid one?

And by the way a.ss hole its a proven study that people who tend to cuss generally tend to be more honest than those who dont. Now please, leave flushers thread alone.

Sincerely

The honest ass.hole.
