Hey brad I appreciate the help! I'm located in the north west but I will come to you and do the lake any time you have the time. I just hate knowing that its not running and couldn't jump up and go out if I wanted to. Plus its dirty and I want to polish it up but don't wanna waste my time on the engine until the carb is done lol. Just let me know when and I'm on the way! Thanks again!

I'm replacing the intake manifold gasket on a 460 bbf with a tunnel ram and the gasket doesn't seem to fit correctly. The bottom of the gasket sticks out in the port. The heads are 460 and the gasket set us for a 460. Is this normal/ok? Thanks.

Jet Pumps / Re: help noobie with rock in impeller lol.

Ya I thought I was out of my element a little bit. Shallow water, almost washing up on a rock bar and getting rocks in impeller and bucket in the first 5 minutes of my river career so I just thought I'd minimize the damage and call it a day lol. But got the rock out and headed out to lake mead (echo bay) tomorrow if anybody is up for it?

Hey fella's I got a rock jammed in my impellar last weekend at laughlin and now I need to get it out. It's in there pretty good so what would be the best way to get at it? I was thinking to take of the grate but wanted to ask first sine I'm new to this and haven't done it before. It's a Berkeley jet. Thanks.

This was the first river trip for me and all I can say is what a experience! Left the ramp at big bend swung around to the beach everyone was at and next thing I found my self in shallow rocky water. Found a small rock in the diverter then was going to follow everyone on a run then notice a vibration. Pit it back on the trailer and seen a rock wedged in the impellar. I tried to get it out but no luck so that put a end to the day for me. It was nice meeting and chatting with you guys maybe next time when the water isn't as shallow lol.

What kind of boat do you have? Callville is nice for early mornings runs but can get really choppy (white caps). I usually go out to echo bay. It's not as busy and the water seems always smooth out there.I

Sorry for the find question in advance but I've never been to the river yet nor a gathering. So my question is do you guys just hang out n float all day or do you go on runs every now and then?

That f'n sucks! I live out in the north west 95 durango area and will keep my eyes out for it. I've been tempted to leave mine hooked up over night cuz we would leave early in the morning but my gut always told me not to.
