So I've been thinking lately about my direction with my Rogers. I like the boat. To complete the project I expect another $10 to $15k would do it. For that I could buy a 19' Daytona, move my engine over and maybe a few other things. Take what is in the Daytona and put in the Rogers and sell it for $5 or $6k. The Daytona would have to have the pump pretty much set up for me to buy it. Clean paint job as well.
My Rogers runs to 86mph in 6 seconds with a stock intake. Based on my research having my pump set back is worth about another 10mph. Changing the impeller may increase this as well. I'm running a AA now.
How much more would the Daytona run with my engine? 10mph, 15mph, 20mph?
I feel pretty safe running the Rogers to 100mph, How much faster would the Daytona run before it goes airborne? I know it's a fine line, I would prefer to stay right below the death defying line getting as close as I can

I want one of the quickest boats on the river, not the fastest.
When you look over a Daytona what exactly are you looking for? Good and Bad
Thanks for the opinions guys
