Sweet! I don't know that I can handle more time away. I was in a panic last night thinking it was me... Then at about 10:40, I went and checked Facebook. (Being that I don't have any social media sites, I was at a full disconnect)

You need to put a straight edge on it from transom to about 3' up. If it has a hook you should see within the first 2'. I'm no expert but that's what I've read when checking for a hook.

That's exactly what I was thinking but at the same time I'm pretty sure these will only look good polished or chrome. I'll give it a shot and post some pics.

Even if you can just get the outer lip shined up and paint the centers would look cool!!

I do get that response a lot regarding the Alt setup.
Ok so I am on the hunt for another 350.
I plan to pull the motor this weekend and access the damage. This particular motor has low hours/miles too.

The No Wake Zone / Re: Planning a bachelor party...
« on: April 17, 2014, 11:34:12 AM »
I never got a bachelor party. Shotgun wedding. Came home from work on a Wednesday before Labor Day weekend and told Rhonda pack your bags we're getting married this weekend. Called a few family and friends all of us met up at Chapel of the Bells in Vegas. Got married by a blind preacher at 4:00am and have never looked back. Married for like 26yrs been together for more than 30. (Man that sentence made me feel old). No telling why she's put up with my shenanigans for this long. She's a keeper!!!!

Is it considered paranoid if after just reading the last couple of post I had to go out in the garage and check my oil.

I dig the alt set up. I built one of those for a customers early hot rod it was like a 29 sedan or something like that can't remember now. I made brackets that mounted off a 9" ford rear end welded a pulley to the yolk. It worked out cool.

Mom was out of it because she had a minor infection but she's fought that off. She was up the entire time I was with her the day before yesterday, but, yesterday after physical therapy and visits from my sister and my moms grandson and his mom she was worn out. She still managed to smile and say I love you in the fleeting moments she was awake. So, just another day on the long road to recovery.

What's really fucked up is the lady that's my mom's neighbor hasn had one single visitor the entire time I've been there and when I'm talking to my mom she often answers me because I have to talk loud because ears no work so good and etc. What kind of pile of shit family leaves someone alone in the time of their greatest need? Seriously, shame on those people. I overheard the lady who I suppose is a grand daughter or maybe daughter of the person complaining that she had to drive all the way from Lakeside to University City to see her. Seriously. What the ****? Where are your priorities? I'm doing more for your families recovery then you are simply by talking to my mom.

/rant
I hear you on that one. It's pretty messed up not to be there for your family what ever it takes to get there is what you just have to do. When my Mom got sick before she passed. She was in Nebraska and I was in Az without hesitation dropped everything and drove straight through(21hrs) to be by her side. It's just what you have to do as children. It's just the way it's supposed to be.  Keep doing what you're doing and have no regrets.
Thoughts & prayers coming from the Maloney's
