Ok.. Would I have better luck parting this out? It seems like these Casales are going for 600+ dollars, Im sure the motors worth a bit, all the gauges and trailer.. Seems like Id make more? Im droppin it to 3,000. I want it GONE! Need the parking for my other boat.

Not trying to thread jack yah.. Just postin a boat I saw today out in a field Im workin in. Theres old shitty trucks and cars EVERYWHERE. Atleast 20 RVs of different sorts. 2 little sailboats, a canoe, one of the mini jet boat hulls, a cool lookin jet boat with motor thats covered (too far away to get a picture with my phone, and dont want to get shot snooping) and this little guy. Sorry bout the phone picture, I was kinda far away and moving when I took em. Theres also a CLEAN 65 caddy 4 door Im eyeballin! I love pack rats like myself that actually have the property to store these things!

So today I wanted to take out the flatbottom after finishing the trailer fianally.. Shoulda known better! The guy before me ran dry headers on the Howard for awhile and melted the wire loom, but the wires inside looked fine. Im guessing that wasnt the case. I ran for about 30 minutes in a circle near the truck incase of a break down since this is the first trip this season.. she was cuttin out a bit at the top end, my guess is workin all the old gas out of her. My good ol mom came up to watch me and laugh as I froze my ass off just in time to take some pictures for me! So very nice! Ill get some good pictures of the wires Im talkin about when I get the logs off. By the way.. Dont go to Bass Lake just quite yet! Water feels like ICE right now. Might have somthing to do with the snow drifts in certain places?

What header gaskets are you guys running? I went to Napa and they really didnt have anything to my liking. I dont want a TON of material showing and everything they had really didnt cover the ports like I had wanted. I found these on summit.. Will they work? I have round port headers and all I can find is square. Id also like to find em on summit cause I have an order leaving there soon!

Hmm.. Didnt even think about that!  Guess Ill weld on a drag plate down there to protect it. I plan on getting a thicker chrome chain for some bling. That was the one that was already on the trailer that I just rattle canned. Thanks for the heads up though! I would have never thought about that!

Just curious.. Do you have any pictures of yours or the same hull in the water? The transom looks like it would be a little more lake friendly. I love the layout, most of them are just too low in the water for my local lakes.

Ok, Thanks guys! Propless really saved my ass on the majority of everything I needed! Iv been looking at engine pictures to try and figure out the water setup (alot different from my V-Drive with water logs) but its kind of hard to make out each part with everything in the way. Id love to buy one of the water valves thats controlled by RPMs for the headers, but thats still out of my price range! If anyone has a picture of the front of the motor thats a little more simple and I can make out the cooling system, that'd be great! Other than than, just trying to find a used starter for this season really. Calling Tom today about a used PTO and Im the highest bidder for one on ebay at the moment. I might have even found a scoop I can use on my friends lawnmower. (yah, I know, were pretty oakie up here. He has a CD player and a trailer he pulls full of subs  )
