Boat was painted when he got it. He already sold it for 3k to a buddy.
I'm saving $ for the paint on the cv. It's two tone grey with ratty grey interior. Most stuff is off and already sanded down for paint. The cv 23 has the 460 F---, w/ Berkely combo.

SWEET!! The "shotgun" for a bbc is a good find. For pwr/budget...My O2
Single carb/ premium gas / Good heads,pocket port, Streemline the valve guides,polish and match chamber to head gasket( takes me about 4hrs ) ,/deburr tops o pistons / then put an NOS system on it!!! / an ignition retard box will help ya get the most pwr without the system on.
A similar set up in my moms 69 nova, that I used for a bet, Without the NOS, went 11.2somthing @ get this....134mph!!!! Yep I won!!!! I smoked the tires through the whole 1/4. They asked me to leave!!!

Not mine but a buddies. 90 Mustang lowered, looked normal. Twin 66 turbos....9.3something before we got kicked out of track. He just finished a single 72 turbo windser. Dyno'd at 571 hp NON corrected at 5400ft. pump gas ..driver.

Just a couple to start with.
71 jag xj6, 406 sbc,th 350, 4.11 gears, dechromed black. was my moms car I built. it lasted about 1yr then totaled. Mom was ok Car would run 14 flat @ 5600 ft ,9400 ft density altitude.
Next car I built for mom.
69 nova ,lowered, 4" wide ralleies in front, another 406 sbc,th 350, 3000 stall, 4.11 rear, 13.7 on the motor, 11.61 on a 175 shot. once again at 5600 ft. Not sure of the D A. on that one. It was late summer so probly the same as the other. She hit something in the road...drove till the motor made noise. Hole in oil pan.
85 Suburban 4x4 3/4 ton, black with flames, another( see a trend here ) 406 sbc, vette tpi, th 400
built this one to last!!!! it's made it so far. the 2nd,3rd power tour it was in the flowmaster tv add. ran 16.2 @ 56oo ft.....before mom!!! She's awesome but damn hard on anything motorized!!!!!!

Vacuum secondarys are awesome!
The balance line crewchief mentioned is very important!! it is in the secondary part of the carb in the metering block.

I also raced at 'The Terminal",Brotherhood Raceway...what ever. I was bumpy and narrow even in the rental racers opps I mean rental cars!!! I was a cool place and the races for "hotdogs" were plentiful. Talked to a jet car guy in Denver and he said it was on a good pass out there if he didn't get a MPH... The wheels where air born over the last mph beem!!!!
