Back when I had my Harley, I used to go to Laughlin every year....... that does look pretty quiet for a Friday. The only year I didn't go was the year they had the shootout at Harah's. Those were good times.

Yeah i was at work just down the street when that happened...And now that is whats killing the run..The police presence here is crazy.. We have the FBI, ATF, city, county, Army on call, Swat on alert, National guard on stand by, DPS, Nevada state patrol, CHP, and undercover officers walking the streets dressed like bikers And im sure im missing some more agency's that are out in force..

It is so bad that if you stop on the sidewalk to tie you'r shoe , the cops tell you move it or go to jail Cant even have signs that say "Show your tit's" anymore or it could be a ticket to jail..I had a sign on the back of my truck a few years ago, they told me to scrape it off and after the run you can put another one on.. "i didnt"
so basicaly anything that could start any shit they are on top of..

Oh did i mention the $5 dollar beers in the plastic bottle
The run just aint no fun anymore and with the hotels charging sooo much for the rooms, then you have the food and of course the drinks...

A rich man can go home a poor man now....It sucks!!!!!

A bunch of yuppies on bikes that only get 700 miles a year. 400 of those miles are for the laughlin run. Im not a big fan of the Harley market anymore. I lived it for long enough in a dealership. 

You would be surprised of the amount of people out here that have  a Harley and only take it out during the run...
and then we have the people that dress up in the leathers and all and then go drive off in there Yugo or Samarai.. It bugs the shit out of me.......Its like a circus , all the freaks come out..

I dont even know what # river run it is, but i wish it was over...They said last year we had 70 thousand bikes and this year they expect 75K.... I call bullshit.. I think we only had 50K last year..
This year looks to be getting off to a slow start , and its friday this place should have been packed by now. And they still have hotel rooms available for the first time ever on a run..

I took some pics on the way home, not the best but you will get the idea of traffic
Maybe later today or tomorrow we will go back over there and get some more pics of the girls and bikes
