Buy 'em all Jeremy! Lord knows I got enough trailers with no spares (Stole one from the Beisemeyer's old bed a couple weeks ago)! I'll cover ya! They probably fit at least half, if not all, of mine.

My crew is in mutiny mode.  If anyone wants to launch, drink, and retrieve lemme know.   I'd prefer to be there no later than 9 and open to leaving most anytime also.   Lemme know . . .

Hate Mutiny's! Next time we see them, let's make them walk the plank!

You bring the Bloody Mary's, I'll supply my Black Midget crew, hows that? (Skip and I will be there as well, shorthanded, hopefully I feel better than I do tonight, but nothings stopping me!).

RJ has laid down the law on which boat is going too.... ;D

Bob's got a ride no matter what. Plenty of space here! So does anyone else, for that matter! ( I had 10 people in Moo once, but that was a matter of emergency,  ;D, kinda looked like either the Clampetts moving into Saguaro Lake, or a Cuban Refugee float when I pulled into the docks for sure!).

Wish you could make it though, love to meet you guys!

Am glad Rivertard will be there, lol. This Should get interesting!

Well everyone is home safe and sound.   Sight unseen I think my buddy has already come up with the definitive name:  "That 70's Boat"
Needs carpet, battery and bilge pump immediately.  But the trailer needs major love.   I'm jazzed to have it, but at this point I have no idea what I am gonna do with it.   I wonder if Ray ever feels like this?        Naaaaaawwwwww

::)

Glad to hear they found it! Seems weird though.

My understanding was the same thing on most diesel cranks!

The No Wake Zone / I've seen custom plates, but GIRL!
« on: January 05, 2010, 12:54:05 AM »
OK, Texted this around with some BS (being funny) about where it came from, and posted on Facebook, but this is too funny to leave alone!

Went out drinking with my baby brother last Friday Night. Spent the night at his house. On the way back to the bar to get my car next morning, I spotted this plate which took a bit of forced daredevil driving on Bro's part to get the pic.

Not a cop, Dave already tried that one, a cute lil thing that opened the very bar (in Chandler, Az) back up where we were picking my car up from!

I'm truly perplexed as to the meaning............ is this EVERY man's dream????

Ray

Maybe I left the bar too early...............

If I remember right, I think mine were set originally at .026, then I readjusted them last Fall before AVI at .026.........Where the hell did I put that sheet?....... :screwy: I think it said to do it hot at .024, but not really practical on a jet boat. So I just added .002 to what the specs said and set them cold. I'd be really surprised if the valvetrain expands enough to overcome the .002"  in a jet boat.

That's a Solid Comp Cams with roller rockers on a BBF though. Does rattle and clack a bit when cold, but a lot of that is the forged pistons. Once warm, at full speed, you can hear a slight, but persistent, "buzz" from them, so mine are probably a tad loose.

I think you're in the ballpark +/- .001 though. I wouldn't sweat it. I might play around with tightening them down a tad to .024 or more to see if some of the buzzing goes away this summer. This is STILL a work in progress, didn't know that many of you were also running solids!

That's the plan!  ;) You can bunk with us Skip, Friday night anyways. Gotta pull out Saturday night to open the building on Sunday though  :P

Did hear of some of the PB crew staying at the Casino Hotel, but don't know how far that is from the water. Gonna check it out tomorrow further.
