OK, you have an Apple in one hand and an Orange in the other. Now please compare the two.

I never ripped on a JetBoats...I ripped on your boat since you "Cast the first stone"!!! You kept talking about how much faster your boat is and how mine sucks it never involved any other boats then those two...Yours is fastest in a race on smooth water hands down and I never denied that, mine is faster across a large lake...would you agree with that?
As far as the whole Muscle thing...I gotta 1931 Ford pick-up with a 327, a 1967 Nova ss with a 327, and a 1970 gs with a BIG BLOCK 455 so why would I rip on them? Yes if they are maxed out they aren't all that reliable but if ya' got the money go for it... The fact of the matter is that the same boat I have with a big block would cost about the same as I paid for it with the wacker...I love the almighty V8 as much as the next man....
Ding Ding Ding!!! Round 28! ;D
I agree with everything yah said there except I thought that YOU had cast the first stone.  ???

92' Warlock 250 offshore Merc Outboard 80 mph $8700.... Priceless ;D
Still nearly $4,000 more than the "average" jetboat.

Nice spin!! We starting talking about all the Wheel Estate your were going to put between yer boat and mine and about howgay my boat was for only going 87mph... Now it's that I was comparing Jetboats too my boat?? You said what is the point of dropping a boat in the water if it only goes 87mph and that yer Cruising speed?? Cruising!! Was higher then that. But go ahead and beat on your "Help me out! He is dissing on Big Block Boats crap! Have I not posted pics among other things on this board about Jets?? What have you done?? Typed shit about me for the past Week and a half!!  Funny how ya' wont tell how cheap that boat of yers, his, whomevers cost ta' build!!! ;D ;D ;D
True........but it wasn't so much that your boat runs 87mph as it was that it's a wacker. If it was a jet running 87 mph I would like it. That is just my taste and has absolutley nothing to do with you or your boat. I like chrome, polish and loud engines. You did rip on big blocks and I defended them.
What have I done? I've posted pics as well. So?? You're credibility has suffered since you post pics of jetboats in one thread then bag on them in another.
As far as what my boat costs, the hull is 8 grand and so is the motor. Lotta bang for the buck I'd say.  :)

NOT that its difficult, but I am confused.
Oh it's nothing really. Just a little domestic disspute. The cops came and saw my torn spagetti stained tank top. Warlock had my skin under his nails and was obviously drunk. They hauled us both in and made us sleep it off. NOw we have to decide who keeps the apartment and who gets the cats. Dividing the Streisand CD's is going to be the hardest.  :'(

Because you said yer boat was faster then an outboard...And yer right....you don't think its a rush at all cruising across a choppy ass lake with alot of wakes cause you can't, It's kinda like driving your truck 87mph over the whoops at the Glamis sanddrags. You are triing to compare a dragster to a fourseat longtravel sandrail. And you tell me which one sells more????? The fourseater! So what you have to say to the MAJORITY of jet boaters whom only go 60-70mph dumbass???? That they are as much fun as going 65mph on the freeway with your truck??? I loved cruising 48mph in my old Jet and didn't give a shit about guys like you that love the attention their boats gets while sitting on the trailer! ;D
You must not be very tall because the point I'm trying to make keeps flying over your head. You've stated many times that your boat runs 87mph and that NOT alot of typical jets run that. When you say typical I'm assuming that you are talking about your average everyday $5,000-$6,000 dollar Jetboat. Why would you compare a $20,000 + Warlock to that of a average Jetboat. Wouldn't it be more fair to compare a jetboat in $5,000 price range to that of an outboard in that price range? Do you think a $5,000 outboard powered boat is going to run 70mph like the jet? NO! Why not compare a $20,000 outboard to that of a jet with same amount invested?
And by chance that you did find a 70 mph outboard for the same price as the jet, you'd still have to get over that ugly thing hangin off the back of it. Not easy on the eyes if yah know what I mean.
Now go drive your fourseater sandrail 60 mph on the freeway over bumpy waves in your truck (I think that's what you said?????)  ;D :D

Hey Q-Jet....Great job on your website!!!! Yer right your boat is faster then mine. The boat have to TOTALLY different functions smart ass. How much did it cost to build that big block and Whole V-Drive assembly??? Gellcoat? Lemme guess $2,000 right? 10K will build a decent big block but as fast as you claim yours is it way more then that. You got a transmission in that widow maker? And yes, you are a big mouth. ;D
I'm aware of the functionality differences of each boat, a point I have been trying to make. In addition to that it was mentioned that people love the sight, sound and feel of a big block jet boat. I think you would have a hard time selling your KKK rhetoric to the Alabama church Quior. What that means is that a $20,000+ outboard Warlock that runs 87 mph doesn't compare in a lot of eyes to a $10,000 87 mph jetboat as far as looks, sound and feel. No matter how hard yah try to sell it. The name of this sight alone should have been indication enough of that.
Your boat suits you and your family and friends the same as a jetboat for the people here. We are aware that our boats are hotrods on the lake. Yes hotrods aren't as reliable as a factory built, check written, second morgage boat, however there are many other reasons (of which I've mentioned) why we buy the boats we do.
You try to pin me as some big headed a-hole, of which I can assure you I am not. My boat runs good for what it is but is by far not the fastest boat around. I know a few Jets and v-drives that would hand me my ass in a second. I have been humbled in my days and I am sure that I am not immune to more.
And no my boat does not have a tranny it. Yours does though. Funny thing is yours sits behind the steering wheel.  ;D ;D ;D

Dude, Have you seen all the Jet boat pics I have posted and how I even said I had a 79 Tahiti 460 jet boat? The only one I am ribbing is Q-Jet big mouth....I agree with you that it is apples to oranges I just like havasu and thats why I got the boat I got. Have you read any of Q-jets posts? Whats the point of have a boat that only goes 87mph? How many jets on this forum go this fast? Not yours so whats the point of making a 60mph pass? I don't agree with that nonsense...My old Tahiti only went 48mph and I had a ball with it I just wanted a cat hull and I have yet to see a Jet Cat...and if you put a blown big block in one not only is the reliabilty in the toilet but a bravo I outdrive will not be able to handle all the torque. If you can build that 32 for $2,000 you are the shiznit!!  I spent many a hot AZ day in junkyards and still had quite a bill. What are you using for a tranny and, not that it matters, but is that a real steel 32'? Hell a new set of tires is almost $900.
Oh now I'M the one with the big mouth? If I recall you are the one that came up here spreading your "Warlockism" like a damn Jahova Whitness on a Saturday afternoon walk. As far as 87mph goes I could care a less. How long does it take you to get to 87mph? Well past the 1/4 mile I'm sure. Go for a ride @ 131 in 8 secs and tell me what the difference is between the two types of boats.
I've been around boats long enough to know that outboards can haul ass. Seen it. You say that it's not about money, well to alot of us it is. It think what urks you the most is that more people pay attention to the crackling camshaft of the BBC powered jetboat that that of the non existent sound of the outboard (even though you have 3 times as much invested)
Plus the look of chrome and polished aluminum on a nice sounding Big block is hard to beat.
And the day I go invade your "Outboard" website is the day you can call me a big mouth.  :o

There were a few on the water. Mostly jets. A few flats. I never got to launch mine. The wind picked up and I just walked around talking to buddies and grabbin food at each stop.
Dude, you right speed kills....So stay in yer truck and keep eating at each stop. You should start a thread about all the fast food joints there are on the way to the lake since you NEVER DROPPED YOUR BOAT IN THE WATER!
Yes, me and about 150 other boats didn't drop in the water. AND only two of the out boards in attendance dropped and only for a short time at that. Really not seeing your point. Don't try to compare your Geo Metro to my Corvette. Your boat is an all purpose drive anywhere boat. Does not thrill me nor 99.9% of the boating world. When you launch tell me how many people look your way from the sound of your engine. Tell me how many people rush to the shoreside to see YOU make a pass. I'm guessing not many. But that's ok, you are happy with a boat that maxes out well below my cruising speed.  ;)

GAYYYYY. NOt into driving boats up and down Havasu. Doesn't do anything for me. A heavy cat isn't going to give me the low 8 sec pass that my Cole does. I'm in it for the rush.
Anyways.....this thread is titled "Q-jet's worst mightmare". I find it  funny that it's author couldn't post a pic of HIS boat as the one I'd be afraid of but rather that of someone elses. We call that "NUT SWINGING" in the real boat world.
Hey if your happy with 87 MPH and driving your boat all over Havasu that's fine. I guess it's kinda the same thing as me driving my truck 87 mph up and down Hiway 5...loads of fun  ::)
