Friendly fire Ray where all good right ;D  just a little smack talking cause I see the Moo in just about every thread on here so you might as well bring it and see what she'll do. ;D

Oh yeah! We good Brian! I want to bring Moo for that same reason, but there is some substance and symolism to bringing a classic original to an event like this (Even though it ain't the prettiest thing going),
Moo does seem to come up quite often, LOL! My fault, I know... :screwy: ("that goddam Cow boat", I remember one of Nordies friends calling it at Mead)

And yeah, Ralph's "60ish family boat" would probably own anything in my armada!

Ray

Don't mind the chiding guys! It's true! My GPS may well have a problem, but I don't think so,  ;D
Buying a new one JIC for this! As far as which boat? Still in the air, lol. Crewcheif doesn't wanna be the only one running logs and OT pipes.  ;D

These newer diesels are animals amongst themselves, quite obviously!  :banghead:

There's a guy over on PB who wants to put one of those Duramax Diesels in a jet boat........good luck with that....... ;D

Ray

What else could it be? Fuel pump? Clogged return line? This one is perplexing!

THAT is what I'm up against, LMAO! (Funny chit Skip!!!)

As far as the fastest, Nate, Moo is right now, but that's not going to matter much in this gathering. She's not, or ever gonna be, the fastest on any water. She's VERY Quick and VERY Fast for what she is, and with a JE pump (Everyone says it's junk), I'm impressed with that lil thing! There's not  a Sleek Rebel out there that can beat her, I can almost guarantee that.

The "Pickle", on the other hand, could become an extremely fast V-Bottom. Still not going to keep up with the tunnels or you gullwing boys, unless I lose my mind (completely) on the throttle!  ;D

We'll see which I bring to this. The Pickle "might" get a new engine and show up at the Temple Bar gig with a serious attitude!

Whatever boat I bring, I WILL race it balls out against anything! I'll lose, eventually if not immediately, I have no issues with shame and being beaten!

YOU, on another note, well, I think Moo can hold her own, and why you want it there!  ;D !!!!!

Ray

And yeah, try and hide and act innocent driving Moo! It ain't possible!!

If any of you guys wanna post up a pic of your boat , maybe even just in the avatar, it might help everyone find a cold beer or a bloody Mary depending on the weather.  Especially some of you "Road Warriors".   If it had been held today, the weather would have been perfect.

What's this "depends on the weather" stuff? I thought you had a bar in the Wreidt?  :sly:

By the end of the first night, who knows who'll be sharing who's room anyway?  ;D

Going to be a great time by the looks of it! Personally, I'm leaving for it Friday Morning and coming back Tuesday morning.

Last year, everyone got there well before me and got some good boating in on Friday, (who was that that kept running back and forth at Dusk just outside the breakwall balls out on open headers? THAT was funny!) and everyone left Sunday . I had a ball out there Monday for a few hours before the kids and I left. Didn't see another boat at ALL!

Just get skanky clothes on and crawl in there anyway.  :screwy:

We've all crawled into worse in those pesky screws........... :banghead:

It'll dry out at Elsi. (We won't, but the boat will!).

Lord, I just came home and see all this? Come on guys! Noones talking anyone into anything!

I agree with Nordie, Temple Bar needs to be where it is and started out as. Me affording it, or even, affording the Moo to be (in it's state at the time) ready for it, NO! It was a challenge! I did it, and surprised many people! I still call it my coming out party! I worked my ass off to make that trip, and will again this year. In my lil brain it was all arranged around me (I know that's not true, but leave a man his fantasies).

Terry, I'm gonna call you on this, and you're GONNA BE THERE! Even if I gotta call the lil woman! I'm not gonna get into the reasons why in open forum. You will lose!

Nordie, rock on with the promotion! Might well be the biggest SCJB event EVER!

The No Wake Zone / Re: throttle hand or foot?
« on: December 30, 2009, 11:55:07 PM »
I dunno, I would think the whole apparatus was developed to attract the hot rodders in the 70's when hot rodding on the street wasn't cool anymore all of a sudden (LEO and new law passment).

Just My opinion, but the rise of the Jet Boat seems to exactly coincide with the death of the Muscle Car.

Personally, I wouldn't be without a foot throttle. Clean, simple, and very ergonomic and intuitive with all of us!

OK, Still confused on the rest of this thread, and don't care at this point, mouth is watering over the food talk! BUT, now a new purpose on the whole bean thing! Always used a pan on the side burner, but apparently Brian has another way?

Dude, this sounds awesome, if Ralph even tried it! What's the secret mes Hombre?
