Lol, No, Not for sale in the forseen future! Looked to hard for something unique as this, for one, and more "pallateable" than Moo is to the purists out there. She has meaning to me, in other words.

John, GUARANTEED she's gonna see much time with Moo! (Actually will Thanksgiving weekend scaring the pants off my parents before they're subjected to Moo's wrath).

Staying that color. Got a good indication from a guy last week that he can fix the gouges and match the green metalflake pretty closely with the original gel.  She's a BBC, and I'll kinda reserve what I'm gonna do to that motor for later, given the "purists" opinions I leave it alone. But do NOT rule out a 6-71 huffer.

Now the naming process! Already been a few good ones thrown around, but lets make this a contest!

You all know my rather warped sense of humour, and any and ALL names should be (But don't necissarily need to be) aimed accordingly. They can even be aimed at my personal life, have AT IT!

Prizes? YES, I will toss some out there. I'm thinking for 3rd place, an SCJB T-shirt. For second, a Shirt AND a Hat, if Skip can hook me up. And first? Well, hows a hundred bucks, a shirt, a hat (Skip, you keeping track?), AND a Champions provisional on the naming of whatever NEXT project I have coming down the pike?  Sound like good winter fun?

The balloting I'm not sure about though. Therein lies my debacle. I think we need an impartial jury of our peers to do the voting.
Personally, I think we need a panel kinda like American Idol with Brad, Tom @ JBP, Jim Brock, and Ralph seems like a fair panel, no? (They can't suggest Ideas either!)

None of the above have any idea I'm throwing this in their lap! I'm open to other suggestions on the panel, but that group makes sense to me for various reasons.

You actually need a leak down test, not a compression test.  Then you can determine if you have a problem with blowby.  If this is a new problem, and you haven't recently added or changed oil, you might be able to rule out the oil level being too high, but perhaps worth checking as well.

I would also try running a PCV valve instead of the breather.

Eh, sorry, NIck. But doesn't look like it'll fit the Hilborn unit I have in mind for it. PM me a tape guestimate for the bolt hole spacing, and overall opening dimensions.

Sorry to be a PITA, but this is trying to adapt 30 year old technology to use in the present with what I can find!

Nope, you're right Glen, I'm wrong in my lil brain.

I completely overlooked the fact that you cannot move the fixed pump shaft angle, and that with 3 pt mounts, you cannot move the crank flange from near perfect alignment with said shaft. Makes more sense to me now.
