nice map=the road that is by the "h" in south gate go right then follow road to right and the vee shaped cove is the place=will be camped under that big bunch of trees=

yea been out twice to cfw=saturday before memorial weekend to check new setup=worked ok except for blowing water lines off=was out fri/sat/sun at cfw for the holiday = boat ran excellent=alot of racin in 1/4 mile cove never lost= am doing a different cooling set up now and will be out for fathers day weekend on south shore side= we usually camp at the first paved road to the right down at the bottom = looks us up = southwind boat white/burgandy
and my kids boat is a youngblood yellow/black with stinger writtten on back and on the deck
hope to see you there to put a face to a name

hey greg=hows it floatin=did you go out to cfw on memerial weekend=just changed my jc to a jg no problems just need to extend steering setup if you plan on running a droop=i have another jg pump but have not decided yet on how i am going to do my other southwind=doug

first time out with this set up=not sure what to expect=so yes i still had same hose setup as before will be doing some change over and i thought someone on here  posted something about pressure regulating it all=i was working the water valves also during testing but was running out of daylight = thanks for the input

will a loader grate cause your pump to produce more pressure=never had a problem with blowing hoses off before=took boat out this weekend and kept blowing water lines off=berkeley jg pump w/ b impeller/500hp 460  thanks doug

just did my boat for ride plate setup=the hardest part was getting intake out=i machined it my self and all fabrication =really not that bad to do=nothing to be in a hurry on=wwill be out on memorial weekend to check out results=have about 200.00 into doing it.

thanks ralph for sharing the experience=my brother served in nam and it is not pleasant memories for him=to this day he has never talked about it=yes we need to give thanks to all who served

not to get off track=my uncle is still alive and he served in ww2=and does not talk about it either

i have my southwind apart=got a new split bowl for it and also pulled the intake out and milled it for a ride plate=got the intake set in today and tomorrow i will finish up on filler and smoothing thing out=need to pull impellar off of old pump and put it on new pump then start putting things back together=shooting for second week in may if things go well-my kid and have been going back and forth on his boat also-he just did a setback on his youngblood
we both got alot going on at the same time

yea they finally got the boat off the bottom of the lake=it was a blown v-drive =was a nice ride=now has a big ol hole on the top deck on the drivers side==and greg watch out for those big ol boats on the river=get some 3 ft swells sometimes=good for wave jumping

using cord  on steering wheel with no problems always know which way is up and down by what side the switch is on and the position of the cord coming out of the switch
