Trailers / Re: Axel load recomendation
« on: August 25, 2009, 12:11:45 PM »
In order to eliminate tongue weight, yeah, gonna need to relocate the axles. But if towing with a light vehicle, there's gonna be a price!

I wonder if the boat would fit on the old Beezer trailer I have? ([probably) Could load that onto a hitch with one hand. Anyhoo, it's there to try it, Just too heavy to hook it up? is that the issue?

If it's only 21 inches, why not toss it in the cab of the truck and not use a trailer at all?  ;D

Me either! The PB crew is putting together a big bash here at Bartlett too, I found out.

I keep teasing Sergio that the fishing sucked 'cuz there was a messican in the water.......................lol

Ray

Best part was RJ driving the Moo, which would NOT idle after my last full throttle blast, I'll explain that later, scared me and him both! Faster and quicker than I've ever seen it run! He lifted once he hit 5000 rpm a little, then landed on it again, turning, in full roost damn near tossing me outta the boat! Needless to say, she's getting fuel filters!

Well, we went and hit Sag yesterday, wow, what a long day! RJ wanted to drive the Moo, finally, so we set out after my meeting Sunday morning.

http://[/img]

Then my bud Sergio and RJ decided they wanted to fish, here's the whoppers they caught!

http://[/img]

Then The Crew from the PB site showed up, (Great guys, but PARTY ANIMALS, ALL OF THEM). great to put faces with it though, and I did get to see the famous margarita machine in action! Powered by a weed wacker or leaf blower engine.

Whats wrong now? It ain't gotta be perfect Steve! :screwy:

My boats oil pan leaks like the Exxon Valdeez (Improper install, I'm quite sure), gonna wait til winter to pull the engine and fix that, Josh's leaks water like the Titanic, so he uses 2  bilge pumps, Keiths wife blows up engines faster than Keith can keep up (That ones gonna haunt me), and even Terry has to be towed in from time to time (Which, I must add, every time I've heard of has been a HILARIOUS story).

;D

Well, due to unforseen, and very unfortunate curcumstances of one of the key organizers of this event, it did not happen.

I, among many, looked forward to it, but given the situation, just seemed to be the best alternative to wait and do it again later.

As it is, as a group, we all came to the same decision. Even silently.

We'll get another chance at it, just not gonna do it under those conditions. I think I speak for many who were comitted to go this weekend.

Man this weekend just ain't working out for SCJB.     Cheers people !         I am about to finish up my last Hangar 24 Orange Wheat lager.     Good shit and brewed right here in the I.E.

What'ya mean LAST??? They stop making it or are you making promises to yourself you won't keep on this one? LOL.

I think Blythe had the same rain I had last night and probably today. Maybe a blessing in disguise.

Still a shame, but we'll make up for it!!

Brad and the boys, have fun! ME? I'm gonna hit Sag tomorrow with a vengeance. Kids are frightened as to what that means, lol.

Yeah, rained cats and dogs here too, and all this morning. More of it coming your way I think. Maybe a blessing I got stuck here! Boat woulda been full of water by the time I got there, lol. Gonna hit Sag tomorrow though.

Also there's a remote electric solenoid/valve if the switch is on the dash, so could be the valve, or a wire simply came off or broke. Mines on the transom, but could be anywhere I suppose. (Check your breakers too, if more than one. I have 2 on the Moo, 1 is for main, the other for anything doing with fuel, like the guage and that whole tank selector circuit)

The No Wake Zone / Re: finally landed a job
« on: August 21, 2009, 09:59:39 PM »
It is rough, I agree. When HD hires now nationally, we can only hire part time 90 day temps. If we keep any, we have to make them part time and it's basically a rehire at that point, meaning the first 90 days didn't count towards the 90 probationary period. Kinda sux huh?

But we're getting some REALLY good people that are agreeing to this. That's horrible IMO.

TT Skip and he'll pick it up and store it, so we're golden if it works out! Another wacker in the SCJB ranks maybe, lol.

Looks like too fun a boat to pass up tho.............. :screwy:

Ray

I'll keep you guys posted on what happens on this ordeal. Jeff, you might be enlisted at some point, lol.
