Beers are on ice buddy, whenever you get here, lol!

This is gonna be one wild boat when it's done, lemme tell you! Moo is frightened and feels left out, lol. (Guess I need to throw the mechanical secondary conversions on to calm her down, lol).

And No, Brooke wouldn't do that! And even if she did, wouldn't buy it back unless she posed in the 'kini on it, lol! (she is SOOOO gonna beat me up for that!)

LOL, this is outta hand, lmao! See ya in a bit Bro!

Awful stuff to find out Stuart! Feel the pain there guy!

Who woulda thought they would have went to the trouble to design and cast Smog Heads in aluminum and then peddle them as HP heads?

Let's blame the Chinese................lol.

Really hate to see it go though, I had many a wild idea lookin at it................even thought of a Skunk paint job.....! lol

Jeremy, you should have a very good, running, serious HP boat in a few weeks there though in all honesty! Talked to Nordie last night and he said I wasn't allowed to even give it to you, only to Brooke, lol.

LOL Was kidding, was making a hispanic tone with that, and was prolly WAY off! (Don't go off on that, got 3 Mexicans here in the house with me right now that watched me do this, not a racist, just a comedian in training).

I can get you a VIN and AZ Reg that should work. The actual boat is at the bottom of Saguaro Lake, HID burned off, but I have a good Reg and HID for it! (You're boat will now be a 78 21' Beisemeyer though)..................

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / SBC Edelbrock Performer RPM wanted
« on: August 14, 2009, 01:10:17 AM »
Guys, I figured if ANYONE had one of these around, one of you would. Looking for a friend to find a Performer RPM, not the air gap one, for a Small Block Chebbie. He wants this to fit under the stock hood of his '71 Vette, and the air gap one won't. Anyone got one of the early ones around?

Ummm, and this is MEANT to be FUNNY, so don't take undue offense, but the name is Chili and you're dealing with a falsified VIN number, right?....................................... ;D

You are probably going to have to sand down the transom, usually the HID is molded into the top right, I think guys? and will probably find it's been filled in and painted over. (for What reason? Oh yeah. already pretty much said why).

Given what you've already said, I'm betting stolen boat at some point. But just me thinking out loud.

At that point, listen to 82Daytona, lol!

Ray

I'm still kinda sold on my Mallory systems? Went and checked both of them, yeah, NOT made in China. Nor is the Vertex Mag unit going on the Stealth dealio. Dunno if the new Mallory stuff is Chinese or not, I wouldn't chink so............... >:D (THAT was BADDDDD)

But, guys, Chinese manufacture is a fact of the times pioneered way back when with Nixon. WE're just gonna have to deal with it sooner or later!

Sux I know! But, MSD, as a BRAND, I steer clear from. Digital ignitions in general on the other hand? Well, you'd have a very hard argument trying to tell me they're not far more accurate and reliable than points. Just be careful and match your componenets well. I run Unilite Dizzys with Hyfire 6AL's and a ProCoil.

The only alternatives are a sophisticated crank trigger/computer system or a magneto.

Boat Showcase / Re: been lurking for a bit....
« on: August 14, 2009, 12:12:03 AM »
I did, in another thread at some point, lol. That was back in April I think?

Was at Saguaro, beached and there was this 23 foot or so boat justa floatin around the 'hangout' beach, two girls jumped on the deck, started jammin, bumpin, grindin to the tunes blaring outta the thing about dusk, tops came off, my daughter was disgusted, my Son may never be the same, but oh what a sight! I promptly went to take a pic, and immediately dropped my phone in the lake. Phone #2, lmao.

Ray

Becca, on the way back to the marina later asked me, "why did you want to take a picture of that dad?" Lol!

I promptly, and QUICKLY, pulled one completely outta my ass, and said "Because i want you to remember what a tramp is and to never ever act like one!"

Truth be told, wanted it for my wallpaper on the laptop, a poster in the bedroom, screensaver on the blackberry, and see if Brad can have a sticker made from it! But couldn't tell my children that! lol

Hmmm, I wonder if this asswipe realizes how much more it'll cost him in taxes and lifestyle if he gets his way and loses the revenue those races bring into LB a couple times a year?

Some people! I swear we should not only reinstate waterboarding, but summary executions of idiots!

The No Wake Zone / Re: I need schooling on septic tanks
« on: August 13, 2009, 01:59:43 PM »
My Pops still does them things from time to time back east (retired, kinda). Latest septics he's put in have been sand mound systems at well over $55k each that noone else had the balls to run a hoe close enough to the house to save the people plumber money. (My old man can drop the bucket on the old JD 310B and scrape the basement wall clean, and not blink an eye! Not ME!!!!)

Dunno what a typical system even costs these days, but back when I was helping the old man, $25k was a pretty reasonable price complete if I remember right. That included bedding and plumbing the leech bed and plumbing it to the house. But the last one I helped with was 15 years ago or more.

Pretend you're Messican! My guys at my store will, apparently,  load you to well over 6000 lbs! (talked to them til I'm blue in the face, still they do it!).

Watched these guys, yes MY GUYS, load 1/2 a pallet of 8x8x16's (On video) by HAND into a PT cruiser once, and a refridgerator into the back seat of a Mini Cooper convertible. Anythings possible.

Safe?! well HELL No!@!@!!

(Just had a safety audit yesterday, can you tell? Did  NOT know this kind of stuff was going on.............Ass kickings are coming!)

I bet Lonnie's thrilled to find out that there WAS a garage, lol!

Sounds great T-Dawg, RJ's leaving me post-it notes all over the house this week that he's "Not scared of the boats" and "excited about driving this, but a little nervous about the blower dealio" So maybe the therapy is actually working a little this time. (Thanks  Glasscutter, Pjet, Omar et al that got me pointed in the right direction!).

I keep telling him, the Transmission has three gears, leave it in LOW and it won't get outta hand, lol.

Ray

This is gonna be WILD! When we make it all work, gonna be even WILDER! Brad, do we get Free SCJB stickers for this one?  ;D

Why you need a timing light, LOL! Still never put one on mine, used my basic setup routine, adjusted a little by seat of the pants, running fine! (Pm me and I'll give you my routine on the Fords, posted it here a couple times, lord knows where, but the BBF will fire and idle EVERY time!) Problem being so many different balancers, etc, etc, etc. makes a timing light sometimes unuseable. Let alone sometimes chasing the lines around on a worn out balancer.
