RivRat,  If you have no power anywhere when the key is on, its not a solenoid problem.  Check the back of the ign switch for power, should have one wire that has power all the time.  If not, start looking around under the dash and by the battery for a main fuse, its blown. 

 Looking at the shot of the transom, it looks like the bottom has a unique design to it.  Looks like the V changes angles right about where the stringers are, less V in the center.  Dont think Ive seen that before, but I really never looked for it on other hulls. Just kinda jumped out at me in that shot.

 Also I dont think I would go cutting any holes in the roof for a cooler on a house you dont own.  I wont even do it on mine (and I own it).  I just picked up the biggest cooler I could find http://sutherlands.com/products/product.php?item=7994130  put it on wheels, and hooked it to a garden hose.  I put it outside buy the side door and let it blow in through the door, works great.  Just dont stand in front of it, its like a Hurricane.

True story, I have a buddy who is an out of work electrician, he is going to China for three months to do a start up on a manufacturing plant that runs on 4160 volts and all the start up info is in English because it is machinery that was built here in the states...That's ironic as hell....

I guess at least he has work for a while....

 I dont believe it.  Instructions in English, maybe.  But, built here in the states, no way.  It was imported here (in pieces) from a factory in Mexico/India/China (somewhere) to an American company, and is sold as American because its assembled here.  Then it was disassembled and shipped to China to build a new factory.  Because even the Chinese dont want to buy Chinese crap !!

 Your right Ray, I agree 100%.  I want to do it right.  Dont want to have to do it again next year.  Cant believe I was standing on that thing when I was painting the ceiling and it didnt fall over and kill me.   

 Its all plugged up and I'll wait to see what your guy has to say tomorrow.   

 Piece in the floor is definitely plastic (I scraped it with a screwdriver to be sure).  Looks like it had a flange on it at some point and it broke off, there still a bit of a groove around the outside in places.

 Dont you tempt me GT, I was already thinking about something like that, "Sea Going Poxy Putty" fixes everything !!

 So anyway, there should be some kind of slip in / glue in repair piece for this broken plastic flange (the one in the floor), kinda like what GT posted but for plastic.  Then drop some new cement around it to keep it from breaking again and I'll be good ?

 I'll plug up the hole GT, just had it open for the pics.   

 OK guys, I got the battery charged for the camera.

 The piece in the lower left is what came off with the toilet, upper left is a wax ring that was between the lower left piece and the toilet, lower right was a wax ring between the lower left piece and the piece thats in the floor.  Nothing holding the flange piece to the floor except gravity and the weight of the toilet.



 The flange piece (was attached to toilet). 3" inside dia, 3 1/2" outside dia.


 The piece thats in the slab/floor. 4" inside dia.



 What now ??  I know this is all wrong, but I'm NOT going to break up the slab.  Any special way to fix this ??

The motor went in with a snap. I just dropped it in and it was dead nuts on. I didnt have to cut/shim at all.....dumb luck. Ralph and I spent hours dialing in a rail kit before.

 You did a good job with the drawings/design Brad.  If you give Billy (ironman) the right dimensions, the parts come out right, like yours.  I knew when I saw the plates sitting here they would need a little work for your fuel pump (small notch), but it looks like you got it handled. 

 

 Only 4 hours, you got lucky.   I was stuck there all day a few months ago. 

 Thanks for the compliments guys, Billy (ironmam) sure does nice work. And its really strong, we bounced around on it and the frame rails under the boat (5 1/2" rails) flexed before anything up front moved.

 Oldsquirt, the old one is in the trash can at Billy's house.  It was bent and really worn out (sloppy).  If it was (IMO) at all usable I would get it for you, but I dont think its worth saving.

 Well I'm back on this thing. 

 Billy / ironman had some extra time today so I gladly took care of that by putting his welding skills to work.    That will teach him to have a day with nothing to do. 

 We tackled one of the trailer issues.  Its was a bit to long to fit in the garage when theres a pump in the boat, and I didnt want to cut a hole in the dinning room wall. So I dragged it over to Billy's house this AM.


 And we remover a bit of length from the trailer.



 He went to work cutting some parts to fix the problem, while I supervised to make sure he didnt slack off. 


 Once everything was cut out and ground down to shape he slipped the new pieces in place and tacked the on.



 After that, there was alot of welding to be done.  So I went back into supervisor mode while he welded.





 Here it is, all welded together, and it works.



 After I got home, I cleaned it up a bit and shot some rattle can white on it so it wont rust for now.  I'll do a better job with the paint when the boat comes off the trailer for its bottom work, there are a few other issues with the trailer that need some help too and that will be a good time to handle those too.




 Now it'll fit in the garage without any issues (even with a pump in the boat), and the tongue is longer so when I turn a sharp corner the boat doesnt try to stick one of the forks into my tail lights.
