Some body who knows the area has to let me follow them around, dont really wanna drive 5 hours to hang out 2 mins from the launch ramp. Being that vp is $7 a gallon i can afford to burn a few

X2 on that. I'm thinking a trip to the dam and back with a few good blasts in between should use up just about two tanks. 2-11 gallon tanks just guessing but it'll be a good test on GPM (gallons per mile)

I've heard those Olds don't like high RPMs for long extended runs. There's a lot of great info on this site. Take advantage of it. And happy boating!!

Jet Pumps / Re: Place diverter and ride plate/shoe

Ride plate, Back cut shoe, trimmed sport loader, Place diverter (electric), AA impeller, 'C' bowl...
I think its more 'normal' than the 'exception'.

If it is one with a removable cartridge, use sea going epoxy and be done with it.  If it ever dies, just change the cartridge and you're back in business.
I'm going that route!!!

One of the scariest things is you know the guy didn't do it by himself. I'm sure his helpers are out there lurking around somewhere!!!!!

I'll give that a try and let you know how it works out.

It's such a shame to have a shop with Jet Boat in its name involved and a black eye to my town I live in. It would be great to give that mother f'er some street justice. That being said hopefully some of the victims will get their shit back!!!  Props to you Mike for sticking it to him. I know it was a costly and stressful deal for you and glad to see you're back on the water!!!!!

Looking good Jake. Got a little seat time today and went down to check out the crazys(spring breakers) on the channel. And a couple high speed hits between the channel and the launch.  Just enough to get the blood flowing!!!
