I belive the 1st owners name to be Robert Burklin from Etiwanda Ca. Any one know him? tried to post more pics but they are all to large. Any tips on reducing their size?

Same problems, rather that that, open a Photobucket account and link them across. Saves Brad space, you can share them anywhere, including e-mails, The guys here see HI REz pics instead of crap,

That's what I do (Thanks Tom!)

Gentlemen,

Given all the fairly recent activity regarding the start of the season, then the safety posts that grew out of my boat exploding, burning and sinking, I though I would share this last piece of safety advice.

Please, and I do mean PLEASE, when launching a boat, remember to put the boat in first!!!!

LMAO, You already know Cin was a teacher too, used to call her "Part-Timer" all the time, even though she made nearly twice what I did, lol.

Gawd she used to get pissed about that!

Yeah, should be 12 volt when cranking, 8-9 when running. Sounds like some crossed wires, shorts, broken wires, not necessarily a loose one! Not sure a ballast resistor is even necessary on the Unilite, though. I'm running it with a Hyfire 6AL and ProCoil with no resistor, but might be because of the hyfire. Don't remember, but one manual or the other said the resistor wasn't necessary so it went in the trash (Hate those things). Check the website for directions and wiring instructions.

The Parker Strip / Re: Are NW'rs allowed down there (Parker)???
« on: July 31, 2009, 01:00:42 AM »
Actually would be nice! I know I threw around another Mead dealio in October, and Crewcheif was working on sumpin with Texas Hot Boats in that time frame as well. If it's Parker, so be it! I'll try it at least once!

Funny thing about the nurse comment. After my "vacation weekend" this past weekend that got ruined and ended up with me in the ER a couple times with what still seems to be now a toss up between a Gall Bladder problem or my liver (Go figure), got a script from a female doctor at the ER and went to Walgreens.

Pharmacist looks at it, starts laughing, hysterically, and showing it around to the girls behind the counter.  He had made a few smart comments that I didn't get, but then he hands it to me and says "I'm not exactly sure how to fill this" and points to the line that shows what med and dosage info, etc. I lost it, as did my lil brother. All it says is "Oral daily for 30 days". He says, trying to keep a straight face, "How do I fill this?"

I was like "well, show me what you got, you're the pharmacist"  Thinking I got him, then he pipes back "Maybe you need to go back to her and have HER fill it!". LMAO

Was hilarious. He ended up calling her and having a new one faxed and let me keep the original, as he had made SEVERAL copies of it, lol.

Then I asked about refills.............................. >:D

That is by FAR the sweetest thing I've ever seen. And also seems functional and useable as a driver! Congratulations! You've set the bar pretty damn high on standards around here!

X2 on hoping the water tests go OK. No doubt they will, except for wanting bigger tanks so you don't have to cut your day short with it!

Welcome to the fun zone  ;D

Most of us have kids and enjoy just hanging out at the river/lake.  Some of us are kids and enjoy hanging out at the river/lake  ;D

You choose.  :D

You mean those are MY kids I been hangin with? Here I thought they were just part of my crew!

Welcome to the site! Haven't been on even ONE excursion where I would feel uncomfortable with my kids being there........well, wait, there WAS this one incident with topless girls dancing on the deck of another boat at Saguaro, but that didn't involve anyone on THIS site.

The Moo boat is actually from your neck of the woods! Yours looks REAL nice!

Good luck and either this season or next, bring it all, including the family, to one of the get togethers! We're mostly harmless.

I gotta be sure to get there early  because a lot of you guys seem to break down real early in the weekend.

Yeah, huh? lol. I think last time in the end it was Brad, you and I staring at a bottle and a case of bullets resisting the temptation knowing we were all there 'til Monday anyways!  >:D

If I bring my two boys can someone keep 'em until say 2010 or so?

If you're talking 8:10 in the evening, yeah, but the year 2010? I dunno if I can take it or if Mrs Glasscutter would even tolerate that! lol

My 12 year old daughter and 14 year old son will be there as well. Prolly with their Xbox 360 and other crap if I know RJ, so they'll be entertained!

Oh And get this, this is funny. My son comes in the door last night after we got home from the airport at around 11:30 or something. Sees the Blower setup on the kitchen counter and says to me, "I'm calling Childrens Protective Services if you're putting that on a boat.........." (I THINK he was kidding....... :sly:).

Naw, no feelings hurt, lol. Don't see the sense in it in mine. (Already had battery issues once, don't press it!).  >:D

Actually one was planned out for the Beezer before the, well, you know.......flamer incident.........thank goodness we didn't, else that'd be something ELSE I own at the bottom of Saguaro lake! LMAO.

Seems to me there's always someone else jammin tunes, and the kids have their Ipods ready to dock them in whomever's stereo.

I kinda know how painful that can be, Skipper. Already toad you this, but my buds a drummer and had the same damn thing happen. He was miserable for months before he finally got something done. Still not even 85% with it, but you're not a drummer either, lol.

I Guess it hurts like hell!

The meds sound like fun though!  I especially like the ones that say "Don't take with alcohol". Sounds like a dare to me!
