Walmart stinks but like I said; I go to buy dog food, I buy a box; I go to buy cheap oil for my jeep, I buy a box; and so on; I have a couple thous rounds and feel like I didn't spend a bunch of loot to stock up because it's spread out over time.

Yeah i used to do the same thing for my pistols, but with all my semi automatics it doesnt make sence to buy 20rnds at a time ::) thats gets way to expensive and is not practical.

But i do see what you are saying ;)

I don't really shop around; I usually buy a box each time I go to Walmart for something; that way I'm only spending a little now and then, it builds up the supply, and have plenty when the time comes; opposed to spending alot at one time.

Wal mart suck's >:D  with the family that i have to feed i have to buy in bulk, 1000 rnds per. now that gets expensive, soooooo........... i do it when ever i can and lately i aint got the scratch$$

 but i do have a reserve ;D

« on: January 21, 2008, 02:13:04 PM »
2sav,

When you get the oil pressure sender, or any other for that matter, make sure you get the adapter bushing as well.  I got a new oil sender and the bushing was missing.  I wrote and asked about it and they told me it was too long ago and they were sorry.

Where did you pick it up at ?

Im still trying to figure out the best place to get everything at.  Too many to choose from.

Im looking for a new rack & pinion , shaft extention , gauge bezel's , and a few a other item for now ;D

did your gauges work prior to taking your boat down? If they did, I'd say test all the sending units, test the gauges, if they still work then save yourself the money.

Im all for the saving $$  so yes they worked before i broke it and im buying all new sending units ;D

« on: January 21, 2008, 12:05:06 PM »
im getting ready to place my order  and was thinking if i should buy new gauges?  I wanna make sure everything works perfect and not blow a motor cause the temp gauge didn't work right.

What are your thought's on new gauges? run what i have or buy new? what would you do , maybe im taking this a little to far but i dont want to be down another summer cause i broke the boat again ;D

I expected it to be more involved ;D

Yeah we did the Fantasy bilge with Duplicolor ;)
First i sanded , then i sanded some more and then finally i sanded more. then spray it on and resin over it.  Jim added acetone to it to thin down the resin ;)

I am getting ready to do my Omega bilge in blue after my stringer's are done ;D

Question:  How come no one builds a motor stand with four or five wheels like every office chair on the planet?

If it can keep fat ass secretaries from hitting the floor cuz they weren't paying attention it seems like it would be a better way to go for motors too.  I bet every guy that ever dropped a motor would immediately buy one.  Damn did I say that out loud?  I want a commission bitches!

Mine has five wheels on it ;D

Four for the stand and one for the wheelie's
