It's gonna be fun! I wanna see this thing run! (And maybe get spanked by it, but that's just how these things go!) i didn't realize you were bringing out BIG GUNS, but, I say BRING IT! Looks like a VERY similar setup to what I'm running. I LOVE the colors! How many shades of yellow can you do then go to brown? Very unique.

I told Nordie the same thing 2 weeks ago about the Baffles I removed from the Bassett's I sent him and tried in the Rewarders on the Moo! He doesn't beleive me! Made no difference other than robbing RPM!
Good to know there's other's with the same opinion! lol.

Well, I equipped the Moo with a tow rope, 4 fire extinguishers, and a new set of jumper cables JIC Keith. (Lost those in the Blue Meaney ordeal) You should be ok, I don't think this area is that big, but you know better'n me.
Moo is coming too, I think, the damn dog found a place on the floor of the boat she was OK with when I flared her up again in the 'rage. She wasn't real happy, but she stayed put. I think she may spend the day with Brad and Callie if it doesn't work out, lol. We'll see. Gonna try it a few more times and see if she's actually that nervous about it. I think she'll be ok once she realizes it's not a bad thing and when we're moving in the water she'll be all into it. Ducks, well I worry about them. She's gotten 2 that happened to land in my pool, and she's now up to 28 pidgeons! (We keep track in the patio door jamb). Good dawg!!!!
Still gotta get those Box anchors and bungee ropes youins are talking about. Had the anchor on the Blue one when she sank to try it out (Never got to), I guess I'll just wait and get 'em in Parker. I'm sure those guys know what I need.

Good advice as well, and why you should use a gas can then keep moving backward with what hose you disconnect and stick in the can.
The vapor locking is a good one to try. And I would in hopes it's not what I think it is. (You have no idea how much I want to be wrong on this).
I'm still convinced you have a deeper issue, yeah the tanks and pickups/tubes, the hardest thing to deal with of any scenario I know, and just what you DON'T want to hear. But you've checked and replaced all the hoses (Which are the same size I'm running on a dual 750 Tunnel Ram and Terry admitted running on a Blown twin Dominator V-drive, more than enough!), you've tried two different pumps, 1 mech, and 1 electric with basically the same result, so.
Bring the thing to Big River friday, and I'll ride with ya and when it dies, we'll open the fuel fills and see if that cures it. If not, well I'm right. If it does, FANTASTIC, easy fix, vents are plugged or add bigger vents, easier than pulling the tanks!
(I was told I had a vapor lock issue in the Blue Meaney. Don't think that was quite it, given the result, More later on my theory on that ordeal, but I think it's related to your troubles, lol).

yeah I know! huh! Mine WILL idle at about 750-800, but when set that low, will stall out if I fully lift at speed and full throttle Need to keep it idling at about a grand to void this. (I don't, but should, I just lift gingerly. I like the rumpity rump sound in the no wake zone, childish,I know
).I doubt the butterfly scoop will do anything. I have one, it's cool, but all open on the underside, so will not act like a choke (I know what you were thinking).
Richen her up, read your plugs and get the carb and timing set as good as you can, but you're not likely to get a reliable idle under say 900 or so.

Pics are blurry, but looks like normal markings on the pump lever to me. Wish mine looked that good! Lack of lubrication it would be worn down visibly and measureably, IMO. It's gonna get marks on it, lol, that's just kinda the way they work!.

Thats a good thing, and EXACTLY what it's supposed to do. Prolly need a new ball and spring in mine since I had to close up my valve a bit. I wouldn't worry about where your at. Most of us run around 140-150 or so, I have to since I run mine on this horrible oxygenated shit we call gasoline here in Arizona, and fairly high compression. Lower temps keeps the detonation gremlin at bay (So far). The couple times I've run it on Av or race gas, closed up the outlet side about 1/8 to 1/4, temp went up to 180 or so, and ran like a sombitch!

I'm running ball valves in the inlets and outlets, both wide open, and a pressure releif valve on the intake sided for backup that to my knowledge has never tripped. Ball valve before the header T is about 1/4 closed though, seemed awful wet and was wet at idle. Could be I just wanted to make more noise too......... 
From what Tom told me at JBP, and others on here, the pressure is only in the 15psi range from the jet drive anyway, so I doubt that's the problem. I run a valve on the inlet side only to limit water to the engine and force more to the pump when I run it on the hose (about 65 psi on my hose wide open).
For the record, no, lol, 140-150 is not too hot. Honestly, the closer you can get the thing to the 195 it ran in the car, the better! Less wear and tear on the engine that way! But by partially closing the intake valve you have, you will increase temp you see some, but you also are limiting flow to and through the engine which could cause hot spots and areas not receiving enough, or lord forbid, ANY water.
Best way, if you want to increase temp is to add in a pressure releif valve setup on the intake side, then start closing the outlet side a little bit at a time. This way you can kinda force the water to stay in the engine longer, and if pressure becomes an issue, it'll pop the releif valve before it blows an intake or head gasket.

We're werkin out the details of who's doing what on it. Then we're just gonna compromise and do it my way, lol. Should be back over at my buds next week to start the grinding/recapping, glassing in where the Jacuzzi intake and transom adaptor were. Then paint before I get it back and cut it up for the Berk setup. I'm hoping it goes pretty quick. Still undecided on powerplants. Can go any way I want on this one, and think I'm gonna surprise everyone with what we're leaning towards.....

Good one Nordie! Yeah, a cracked hardline somewhere. (Could be the pickup line inside the tank even, sounds like the problem might have occurred after burning off a bit of fuel) Obviously somewhere along the line my blue, well now submarine, developed a crack in tanks!
Steve might be onto something also, open up your fuel fills and see if that cures it! (Don't smoke and drive the boat then, I dun wanna see any more pictures or videos like that ever again!)
All in all, the problem ain't the pump pumpkin!
