I work 40 hours a week at Crescent Electric Supply. I sell electrical products to build Commercial and Residential homes and buildings. I just got a part time job working at Lowes for 30 hours a week. Ray, my home improvement competitor.

Tee Hee. See now why we haven't met up at the lakes!

Lake Mead / Re: Free Flatbottom

Jeremy only borrowed one boat. Mine, which apparently had more problems in it (that I was unaware of) than an episode of dirty jobs!

He's done well with it, and I tease about what it's gonna cost me, and I will pay for all this, but it does bother me that you guys would gang up on him like this. He coulda just as easily said "hey, have your focking POS boat back" and been done with it, but no, he chose to fix the thing and make it right. Between Jeremy, Nordie and Terry, they've done a TON of work on my boat.

So leave him alone, lol.

Sorry Jeremy, had to vent when I read that.

I would think that 5900 would be pretty bitchin!

X2, if you have the HP at that speed to back it up, should be good to go, I would think. If you do, I would go down, not up.

Projects / Re: Project Mooooooooo.........

OK, Been awhile since I did any sort of anything even resembling work on this boat, so I called Tom this morning and pulled the trigger on a Place Diverter for it. Can't go through the summer with no roost or control, so why not? (Also bought another engine, but that's a different matter and for a different thread)

After all the work Jeremy, Nordie and Terry put into my Biesemeyer this last week or so, now I feel I gotta be working on this thing and ensuring I don't have more problems that I couldn't see like that! (You guys got some $ coming your way and a couple 30 packs for this, Josh, sending up the headers, I know they're in much better shape than yours, but no baffles)

Terry, the flatty's just gonna have to wait, lol, even though you found a smoking deal on that V-drive.

Will keep you posted with pics of it's install. Then the grinding Brad did (Gonna do the same on Blue My Wad, BTW).

QA is a cool job. Did that for a couple years for U-Haul's Technical Center until we agreed that my standard of quality control wasn't to their low level of standards. We agreed to disagree, and so I went back to Retail, which I missed anyway.

I'm a specialty manager for The Home Depot.

I'll take you up on that, we'll have to meet up one of these days (And we will sometime in June I'm sure) Gonna do a lot of road trips with these things this summer. Now that The Vegas Contingent have totally tuned the Blue one up, may take it out more that I planned. Great work guys! Sorry I kinda tossed all that in yout lap. (Unintentionally, but it is what it is).

Ray

What size was the Hallet those seats came from? I might have a use for them.

Pretty much the thruth! lol. Loaned my boat to OC2, I think it's gonna cost me $500 for parts to get it back, lol. Those poor guys had nothing but trouble with a boat I thought was running fine, lol! (You guys will hear the story eventually)

'tis all good though, they found a bunch of what Jeremy calls "gremlins" that woulda haunted me instead anyway. Thanks to Jeremy, Nordie, and Terry for doing it all! You guys are TITS!

As far as an engine rebuild, can be done much cheaper if rods, pistons, cam, crank, etc can be saved and reused. You don't need to go forged pistons (Though Crewcheif, Brad and I all feel that we should, but we're hot rodders.)

You can buy rebuild kits all day long for under $400, and I say do that, have the engine hot tanked since you have it apart, have the heads checked, hone and deck the block, polish the crank, put it back together and go. You can hot rod it later. And can get it done for about a grand total since it's a BBC. It's nearly June dude, let's just get it in the water!

I'm in! Later than the rest of you, but apparently my kids felt I needed company so set up a party again!

Just to let everyone know how I feel about this. If it weren't for the men and women we celebrate this three day weekend for, we wouldn't be.

I am, as we all should be, forever indebted.
