I can't say much for your componets you want to use(not a stereo guy) but as far as placement goes, if it were my boat I would run twospeakers under the deck, in boxes bolted to the front bulkead and then at minimum another pair of speakers in the seat risers under the rear passenger seats.

here are some shots of my Sanger when I did it last winter. Sorry in advance for the poor quality.

Basically what you are trying to achieve, is to make two different pieces into one and unless you open up the seam where they are tabbed together  your glass job will crack.. I hope this helps. If you are looking for more pics on what capping a boat entails click these links.

alright well i can seem to only find the link for my build. But if you search hard enough you will find a thread started by Ralph Brunt. on his race boat he decided to start capping.. good luck and if you do end up going fo it just remember. We like pictures >:D

stripped bolt in one of the accelerator pump hold down. Used red locktite with no issues.

BULLSHIT! Dude don't be peddling your crap here! I bought this carb from you and you returned it because the main body is stripped.YOU said you " had no idea" it was like that. Now you are saying you knew about it and ran it with no problems :banghead: Just like I told you when you were running your mouth about "that is the crap you get from buying parts of Craigs List", and how you will just resell it to someone else. You are NOT a straight shooter, a straight shooter would have pulled the salvagable parts off and junked the rest. Not run your mouth about how you will screw someone else! Guys I warn you about this one. the main body of the carb is Trash.

So how exactly does one save a sunken boat?Hopefully never need to use but would be good to know.

In this case it was caused by a larger boat swamping it

Alright Skip, we'll have to pitch in for somethin' cold and wet at the bar for all your hard work.   >:D
It's getting close, is there gonna be a new roll call to see who's actually showing up to this shindig ?
We're in, I think the regulars minus one are showing up. Too bad Gordy and Marylou are too far away for this one
but I think they're in next March.
Anyhows thanks for setting it up. We are looking forward to the weekend.   :P

Danny & Sheree'

I started a roll call  last week. Never grew legs. so now that we are within a week of this little shindig maybe it will. I will be there with my boat and a buddies boat. we will be leaving thursday night

Thanks for the heads up. I just got off the phone with the River Palms group sales. I told them about this and they beat Expedia. 26.99 for Fri/Sat 12.99 for Sun. I have to say that they've gone above and beyond in my dealings with them for this little gathering. Tip heavy & tip often!

WOOT!

Skip, are they offering this price for all of us?

yeah I am anxious to hear how that motor set up works, and it would look way cool in that sst. As for me I am chomping at the bit to het my hands on a hondo t deck that my gel coater has.its sitting on the wrong trailer and the owner has abandoned it so now I am playing the waiting game on the  lein. it will be getting a blown something in it. Oh well good luck on the sale of the Sag and Pickle. Oh and I sold those OT pipes so no need to keep your ears open for buyers
