The thing is really growing on me too. Thanks Nordie!

Got the rock grate off the Saguaro, was easier than I thought, then it REALLY looked like rain. So covered the Blew one and sat in the Moo drinking beer and making vroom vroom noises.

Calling for t-storms all day tomorrow, hopefully can get it swapped out after work tomorrow for Sunday. Sunday's still looking good, if it's not that windy. Could be disaster trying to trailer this behemoth in high wind, lol (You guys that saw me trying to trailer the Moo can attest to my skillz there!)

Hopefully TC and Forkie can make it Sunday too, will be a hoot!

though the rock grate looks somewhat solid after the repair.....i would still replace it....if one of those fingers breaks off and goes through the pump, it will cost a lot more to repair/replace the pump then what it would cost to replace the rock grate.

just an idea to save you a headache down the road  ;)

Wasn't really a repair, just straightening it. But yeah, you're right. Looks like fun changing it, lol. Will try and remove the one from the Saguaro here in a bit (Same JC pump), might have that covered for the time being, Terry, if it comes off. Will need one for the Saguaro then........ if it works, lol

Where is my impact driver anyway????

Thats not that far up at all!! I would seriously get the grinder out!

Kinda weird. I don't know much about diverters, so I checked the hydraulic unit on the Biesenmeyer just now, goes up a little further than yours, until the forward reverse bucket handle hits the tiller arm. Your' looks to be a good 1/2 inch from the tiller arm.

Somethings wrong, adjustments?? hellifiknow.

Lol, I had an old Rupp Black Widow growing up. I think what's left of it is still at my dad's somewhere in one of his sheds.

You're right, we'da lost him,  ;D But he woulda been able to buy a boat himself if we'd done that!

;DThanks Steve! almost up there with you, but I'm at 2 and 1, 2 running, 1 not.  ;D

Showed RJ your post, Terry, he's stoked! Yeah, he skateboards, etc. He wants to try it. But they won't be with me at Echo Bay. Still want the skis tho, lemme know what you want for them. And the mini bikes? dude, he's excited. He was excited over Omar's Chopper! Post some pics when you're done with them. All I need to do is add a motorcycle and an Ice Cream truck to the mix and all my neighbors houses will be for sale! ::)

I've decided, but don't quite know if I can or if it's even legal, to expand my pool and convert my backyard into a large lake!

OK, Here's the rock grate and scarey pictures of the impeller. Not a project, yet, but what happened to do this?

Anyway, a few seconds with a prybar, and we got this

See the oil? Seems like engine oil leaking from somewhere. Next winter project I hope.

This is funny. My neighbor across the cull de sac, (You can see the nose of his boat sticking out in one of my pics), just came over to tell me his wife wants me quartered and drawn!  ;D

He bought his new one right after I bought the Moo boat, so he now has 2.......... She's worried now, lol!

He's cool. 75 years old, had jet boats in the past and is, according to his wife, an expert water skier. (He's gonna teach my kids how)
Can't tell you how much help they were, and all my neighbors, during my recent, well, loss. He wants to be the first to drive the Moo when we FINALLY hit the water with it tho. This is the first time he saw it with the tunnel, et al, on it.

He says 2 more and the neighborhood is officially promoting me to Admiral, lol. Dunno if that's what it officially takes, but OK.

Hence the thread title,  ;D Thanks Jeremy.

Skip, I think since I have a Cow boat, and one painted like the milk maid that milks her, I should paint the Yellow one Mail Pouch Barn red!

Funny you say that. How about storing the Saguaro? lol so I can fit the Bahner in here? I'll deliver it when I go pick up the bahner?

It has it's lil things, like all boats I guess, and I have bigger plans for it, but for now, let it be, let it be..............

A little water in the oil, but only showed up being parked downhill in my driveway. Could just be condensation, nothing like the milkshake I made at Mead. Will keep an eye on it. In the meantime, I have the 460 I was building for the Saguaro JIC.

Oh, yeah, scheduled my vacation already. Might make a week of it up there. Kids will be back east for the whole month. Just dunno which boat I'm gonna bring..........J/K Gotta be the Moo boat!.

Here's some pics I took of the Biesemeyer this morning. Looks like rain, dammit!, wanted to at least TRY and hit the water with it.

Taking some more pics in a minute of other crap I found. nothing major, like the rock grate bent sideways. Someone hit SOMETHING. (A crescent wrench and a pipe should straighten that out)

Maybe just take the day and check out the hand hole, put a better flame arrestor on, fill the tanks and check for leaks, etc. Don't need what Brad got into right away, I just wanna run this thing.

Little Boy Blue, lol

Ultimate Blonde Joke. (have no idea where I heard this, coulda been here)

Blonde is speeding and gets stopped by a cop.

Cop walks up to the car, and the cop is another Blonde. Asks her for her license.

Blonde asks "what does it look like" The officer says, 'It's the size of a credit card and has your picture on it"

Blonde is digging in her purse and digging, pulls out her compact, opens it, sees her reflection in the mirror and hands it to the officer and says "here it is, I found it"

Cop takes it, looks at it, and says "sorry to waste your time, I didn't know you were a Cop".

Take off a rocker cover. If they let the motor sit, they may have planned on that and backed off the rockers to save the springs. Sounds obvious, but maybe. Second, double and triple check on the 180 degree out thing. (Easy to do, #1 comes to TDC Twice in a cycle, once for compression and once for exhaust). Been there and done that MANY times., not trying to make you feel like an idiot. We've all done it, and recently.

Find TRUE tdc then set initial timing to 10 degrees or so BTDC. Should fire.

If that's ok, Compression check it. obviously it's cranking.

If all that checks and double checks ok, Follow Terry's advice, add an 8-71, two 1050 dominators, get an Exxon Credit card.......... ;D

Dayum! If had a front end of chrome, color matched door handles and bumpers, Bitchen wheels and tires, A lift kit, a multi shock kit, and a badass hood scoop on MY F350, I'd look almost just like you on the way to the water!

WHAT AM I SAYING??? the truck is fine....the truck is fine.....the truck is fine........

im scratching my head on the seats....why brown? only thing it matches is the swim step lol

dont get me wrong....its a damn sweet boat for a steel of a price too.....just not sure what the previous owner (or whoever) was thinking when they put brown seats in a blue boat.  :screwy:

and yes...the tape on the cable is an added bonus for sure  ;D

Wasn't there an old country song, something like "Don't it make my brown eye black and blue" or something somewhat close to near like that?

Maybe that's where the interior decorators mind was........ ;D

Yeah I know, the cable is jacked. Guy gave me another $100 off for that, so I paid $2900. Gonna call Tom in the morning and order a new one. Place Diverter cylinder leaking a little bit too. Probably needs repacked, if it can be done. Lots of little things, Hopefully nothing big. Big query on my mind was, Why the Faux leather brown upholstery?  :screwy: Looks good, just dun match the boat. Needs it's original windsheild too. Only saw two bubbles on the deck, probably under the Easter Egg blue paint, I would guess. Wasn't a quality job, but looks great at 10 feet.

The flake is original gel. Lots more of it under the Powder Blue paint. I have no idea what it's original scheme was, but I have no intention of removing any of it right now! Might be nice to see what was originally under in tho. Strip part of it?? I dunno. Just gonna run it Sunday, hopefully everything works, replace the cable next week, hopefully it runs fine all summer. I'll run the Moo less though, but the kids might have more fun in this one instead of reciting prayers. >:D AND lights! Dunno if I like the idea of driving a jet boat at night, but nice to have it if I need it.

Next winter? Who knows, but yeah, the Flake stays no matter what I do. Totally old school.

Dad will have more fun in the Udder one! Was hoping to really get a good water test and tune in on Sunday with it, but I think, since it's Easter, Better to drive the more docile Easter Egg colored one anyway. 'Sides, wanna know if the pitot and speedo works! and how close it is to the GPS.

Anyone make a 2 boat trailer??? lol

That there is funny, But I'm too far into the Udder Noinsense thing. However, no name on this one! lol Blue my wad? My Udder one Blew this one, Look what I found for Easter (It's a Pastel Blue and dark blue metal flake, does kinda resemble an Easter egg,  ;D).....I heard a few more I'm afraid to post today while it was parked At the Ocotillo Home Depot Loading Zone all day. Shoulda seen the 'landscapers' bithin about that.

Going out again next sunday as well TC, Lake Pleasant sounds fine. I was told to terrorize the Cove if I took the Moo boat. Whatever that means.  Forked up lives closer to you than me. cave Creek I beleive.

Anyway, got the boat home a little while ago, looked at my camera, guy jacked up my mem card, or I did (More likely the latter), so hadda put in a new one and take pics in the dark. Will take some more of it in the sun tomorrow.
