I guess to some extent it could be keeping the ass of the boat stuck to the water? I'm not real sure about the delta pad bottoms? When I first got my little bubble deck and started talking to gt about it my ramps were WAY low like yours... When I trimmed them down and went and test run it for the first time, when I went to shut it down after a wide open pass I was used to it almost acting like it had breaks when you got off the gas? That puppy just glided across the top of the water like it was on ice... So make sure you have plenty shut down room when you start testing... Cause I bet it's gonna free it up...

Yeah you would be breaking suction with the pump cause the loader would not be feeding it enough water to keep the pump loaded, then you would be bouncing off of the rev limiter every time you hit any little wave on the water... You could prob trim that puppy flush with the bottom of the boat and be ok with what you have now... Once you step up the ponies later down the road then you will be (or should be) upgrading your loader anyway...

My buddy had the same issue with his boat... Lifting at the hit, it's all in the prop... He had a guy build him a different prop, hole new boat!

I use brass because it's readily  available, strong,  corrosion resistant and cheap.

If you have access to stainless fittings  (most of us do not), think about how much better that would be than a piece of ABS.

Most stainless I have used has been unreasonably heavy, not to mention expensive.

Gt I bet that's fixing to change... I work in the wholesale plumbing industry and have for prob the last 18 years or so... We are fixing to change all of our brass fittings and nipples over to stainless steel... Copper and brass are slowly pricing their selves out of the market... We can buy the ss fittings cheaper than we can the brass... It's just getting the set in their way plumbers to change lol
