Boats For Sale / Reliable Charger jet boat with 460 ford
« on: October 07, 2013, 04:54:37 PM »
For sale is my 1977 Charger Jet boat.
Has a reliable big block ford 460 and a berkeley jet.
Battery switch
Teak swim deck in really good condition.
This was my first boat and could't of been a better boat but just bought and open bow and its time to move on. Never had a problem with it ran all summer long and would fire right up all day on the water. Perfect starter boat for someone or even just a good reliable jet boat.
Nice 2 axle trailer with working lights all around.
We rewired it so the wires are almost new
Tires are new from this year. Tons of tread and no cracks from sun because I keep them covered when stored.

Upland, Ca.
And right on thanks, Yea i would prefer one that is cut and would prefer one that has a pump and stuff.
I say "build myself" but i mainly just want to put in my own engine, paint, seats, gauges, etc. Stuff like that you know.

I just sold a 19' cougar tunnel v-drive. Would have made a beautiful boat if it was a jet but i'm not a huge v-drive fan so i sold it.

I would prefer a project because i want to redo everything my own way just so i can say "i built it" you know so like i really wouldn't want to go more than 10k and i know that won't buy me a complete daytona by any means just sometimes theirs deals. Just mainly looking for a solid hull to build up a basa$$ little pickle fork. Thanks.

I'm looking for any type of pickle fork jet for a project to built up for next summer. Would prefer an Eliminator Daytona tunnel but will consider all options. I want a project but will consider a complete boat as well. Thanks.

Hulls / Opinions on an 82 Cougar Tunnel v-drive??
« on: September 08, 2013, 02:55:06 PM »
I have been looking at an 82 cougar tunnel v-drive thats about 18-19 ft. I don't know too much on these boats so I need some opinions on it. Stringers and hull are in really good shape. Has a casale drive on it. Has a bit of sun damage from sitting out in the open but other then that the hull is in good shape. What do you guys know about them and what about would it be worth?? Thanks

I have been talking to this guy about his cougar tunnel hull for sale. Its about 18-19 foot. Went and looked at it and stringers and hull are in great shape. Has a casale drive on it and has steering. Has been sitting in the sun so is a little faded but other then that the hull is pretty sound. What can you guys tell me about these hulls and set up and what about would it be worth??? Thanks.
