        Hey i've seen some comments on here while looking for options on some carpet for my boat and have seen home depot and lowes mentioned. After checking the local marine shops and there inflated pricing I decided to check the big guys out, lowes was bit of a dissapointment both stores dont have much of a selection as most would guess but lowes would not even offer different colors as a s/o option. Home depot is not much on in house selection either but they do have marine grade carpet available for order in there online format and had I think about 7 different colors to choose from. The best thing about it was the price, their carpet only runs $5.95 a LF! I bought a 6 x 20 roll of carpet for $119.00 bucks everywhere else was gonna be a minimum $250 for the same size remnant!

Now I am not comparing the quality at this point only the price seeing as i have not installed or used the product yet but will keep you guys posted. Just thought i would pass this along in case someone else needs to save a buck in the off season on a recarpet.
(note) the carpet is only available online @ homedepot.com

That's the first thing I thought of was pushrod length. However, for the nut to barely grab the end up of the stud is a bit extreme for the pushrod length isnt it? Is the problem on all of the studs or just certain ones? Make sure everything is seated properly! Any valve/spring work done that may have changed something?

well heads were completely gone thru but seems to be same on all int. and ex. i think i may have to alter my pushrod length

Guys need some help. just putting new motor together decided to replace the old stock rockers with some stainless 1.7 rollers but im trying to adjust but new lock nuts barely grab thread before placing tension on pushrod almost seems rolcker studs are not long enough these are suppost to be stock replacements any advice?

Assuming here...Offset being large flywheel? (168 Tooth)

Or offset meaning rear mount?

I have a rear mount and two straight patterns (153 tooth) but think I have a good marine drive housing at the barn, if I do, I'll change it out for you, it's a GM high torque (double wound stator) Marine deal, get pics this week, all fresh stuff bench tested ready to play $40, gotta figure out how to get it to you (heavy), if you go get a reman, I may be able to get the marine parts to you also (I can tell/show you how to convert it...
