I’ve emailed him and called and instagrammed him hopefully he’ll get back to me. Is he reasonable? I hear he’s the best. I’ve got a bunch of good parts that need to go into another block after it’s machined.

I see some of these guys putting boats together and damn they got long money! (Happy for them not hating) I’m more of the redneck yacht club! I built heads as a kid in some real go fast spots. So I’m gonna put it all together myself. But I need a machine shop to line hone and deck my block. (I’m a wireman now) think the crank rods etc are gonna be good enough to run. I’ll mic it all.

Pulling the engine! Got the carbs off and it was a pond inside the intake lmao! Damn shame everything looks brand new inside other wise. Hopefully the pistons are still good I don’t have much hope for the block. 3 cylinders full of water!

Interior / Snap in fiberglass seat covers
« on: May 10, 2018, 04:21:40 PM »
So I figured that seat covers for fiberglass buckets would be somewhat common? I’ve called 6 different upholstery shops in the Coachella valley and gotten bids to recover my buckets...450 to 600 hundred a piece! Does anyone know where to buy snap in covers? Do those bids sound right? I work for a living   ;D I’m not a cheapskate but damn those seats are small to have 1000 in them! Any ideas? Any seats to be bought online? Seen some but don’t wanna buy them and they show and are trash.

I bought a steel chrome one at O'riellies, and  a billet alum. one thru Summit. Both were for a small block chevy short water pump style.

I need that crank pulley and extension with pulley for my moroso scavenging pump. Just like he’s got on that Daytona I’m playing hell trying to find one. Right now my boat is set up for a pure 8 second ride. So I’m installing saddle tanks and an alternator. I’ll leave the little fuel cell where it is for the wet nitrous system.
