I have State Farm 225.00 a year. had to use it last spring covered a total loss on the boat repowered with a new 2008 volvo penta mpi......only had the policy about 8 months

I am from STL and probably going to run up there this weekend. (the river is flooded again
Had my buddy call the corps today and see if there were any restrictions:
called Illinois Army Corp of Engineers - Lake Carlyle...spoke to Dave he said as long as it doesn't interfere with anyone's recreation (doesn't piss anyone off)everything should be fine. He didn't even know what the noise restriction is...I mentioned the motor you're running. He didn't have a problem with it so I guess there aren't any horsepower restrictions.
yeah riser were about an hour and a half from carlyle lake dont know if we are gonna make it out this weekend or not hoping to but wife has to work
. there are no restrictions on the lake maybe if we get to go we might see you up there......

from what i gather us coast gaurd put them there after they were found a drift after a storm a few years back.
