Thanks, I think you are on to it. It currently has no overtravel switches and can really suck power if up against the stop (potentially frying the motor or pop the circuit). Micro switches would prevent that. I still want to know where the trim is set, and that is why I am asking if anyone has an old schematic or parts list or whatever. I saw the earlier post toa pot with wiper on it, but I am not sure how that would be hooked up in my situation. While it would be nice to go with a "better" newer jet and go hydraulic and have all the nice stuff, what I got is what I got ...unless I win the lottery :-)
Funny you should mention the micro switches, as I was thinking of using them to interrupt the drive signal in whichever overtravel position so I dont burn this old turkey up at least.
For now I just set the trim when I set the boat into the lake and leave it alone (slightly down).
