Boats For Sale / 1988 COLE T-deck forsale 440
« on: July 17, 2007, 07:34:11 AM »
The pictures are Brads, thank you for taking some nice pics! Ok, I need a bigger boat and the COLE is just too small for my family. So, she needs a great home. Let me start by saying, this is a very nice and very clean boat.I cant stress enough how well taken care of its been treated. The boat is a 1988 COLE Star Fire T-deck. She can sit 4 adults just fine or 2 adults and 4 kids. I am the 4th owner of the boat and I have done a few things too her since I have had her, almost a year now.She is a turn key boat, you dont need anything. The gel coat on her is perfect, with just a few small nicks in her.The interior is also perfect, no rips or cracks at all. The carpet is in good shape and still has life left in her.It has a small missing piece along the hull on the drivers side which is not a big deal, its not where you can really see it and its not that big. The boat has a Chrysler 440 with Reward headers(water)and a purple cam in her.The motor is very stock with a small Edelbrock rise intake manifold. The Carb is a Holly 4 barrel. She also has a MSD coil and other small misc high performance parts. The motor sits on a very nice rail kit so if you wanted to change out the motor too a FORD or Chevy, its a piece of cake.It has two tanks on her which hold about 22 gallons of fuel. Their is lots of chrome and overall a stock 440 with a few small upgrades. The boat has a fresh rebuilt Berkley 12JG split bowl pump with a NEW Aluminum A impeller manual place diverter (jet o vator) to give you a nice rooster tail. Also, is a very nice ride plate. This has one weekend on the rebuild. All water plumbing is brand new and let me tell you she runs cool and you wont ever have any problems with overheating. I had a hand valve placed under the seat so you can controll the water flow too the headers without getting burned. I havent done anything else to the boat because she doesnt need anything. My Only plans are to replace the distributor with a better one and thats it. I am willing to take off $250 if you want to buy your own or plan on putting a Chevy in this or a FORD? All work was done by Tom at Jet Boat Performance and you can call him for a reference if you want one.
The trailer is a Donel tandam with centerline wheels, chrome fenders and a removable tounge. I can tell you right now, it will fit in just about any garage. Its 18 feet long. Everything works on it and the only thing she needs is two bolts to hold the bunks to the frame. This is being pickey and its two bolts on two seperate bunks. I havent replaced them because its only one bolt on a bunk which has plenty of other bolts. The tires are in great shape and have plenty of life in them. I have two connections for a flat pin on big round hook up.
I am selling to buy an open bow jet boat, so the only trade I will do is for a nice open bow jet boat. I am asking $7,000..FIRM. If you want $250 off replace the distributor yourself and thats all I can do. I might part with the motor for a decent offer or sell just the boat no motor with a good offer.

I met some great people out there and gave thanks on Hot Boat, but I wanted to say thank you to everyone whom we were hanging with, great freaking people!

I had a great time at AVI, incredible and well worth going. Besides the stupid lake lice and the very stupid Sea doo jerks, it was awesome. I hated the launch ramp though, focking harder in hell when you are being towed into it ! Big River next!

The No Wake Zone / Re: Newbies chime in please
« on: June 28, 2007, 10:26:31 AM »
I like this site, its easy to Nav in and laid out well. The only problem I can see is Brad needs to draw more traffic to it. A few ways is stickers on boat trailers, rear windows of trucks, bars, etc. Which HE is already doing. This way  everywhere you see a So cal Jet Boats sticker and people will be like what the heck is this place? The little tents he has already is a major plus! That really draws attention and you have to keep pluging away at it. You cant give up and soon it will take off on its own. Speaking of stickers, I would love to get a nice white one for the back of my tinted window and than a normal one for the trailer.

I know i posted on the other site that i suggest we meet on the beach at AVI on Friday around 11am than hang out for a bit and maybe cruze down river a bit and hang out in some coves and like Beetjet said, swim, hang out, etc. Than on Saturday morning say meet agian at 10am in front of AVI ( on the beach)and go from there. Thats what I was thinking? I think we all hang out for a bit in front of AVI on the beach, gather the posse for a bit maybe an hour or so, than drag the Klan to Lazzy Harry's for lunch and hell up and down the river for a day. Why not? As soon as we get there I wana launch and place my boat on the beach in front of AVI and wait till we get the majority of the Friday people there. On saturday we can meet out front again and do it all over.

72

WarZone / Re: Car buried in Tulsa....

Well the fact they havent opened the doors and no inside shots really with the camera blows. Regardless, its a wreck, from all the damage we see, basically they threw the car in a fish tank and barried it for 50 years. They should have water sealed the vault, but they didnt. I bet you would have had a killer car like the stuff in the time capsule.
