Flat bottoms scare me I'm new to this and try to keep it idiot proof.
I believe the 427's balancer does not have a counterwieght on it. feel the inside lip of the backside of the balancer.Should not have any lumps.The 427 is internally balanced.

Like HD said swap pulleys till ya get about 5lbs of boost have fun yer motor will be fine.
The roots blowers rev damn quick. If it comes out of the water without a limiter it can get ugly motor damage wise. 5 lbs of boost will give ya the OMG come ta Jesus feeling!!

Before the US short track speed skating team moved to utah..earlier this year. My son 9yrs and I would watch them practace. The ladys had some talent! Anyway my son got to skate with some of team a couple times. My son is the state champ this year for speed skating. Most of the olypians I've met are great people!!

There's got to be more.
Heck even a nice butt shot shot will work. Winter Oly too.
