Ok, so my current project has spent some time sitting.  So I spent some time color sanding and then buffing.  It shines up, and is smooth, the chalking is gone, but the white on the bow is still a bit dingy in places, similar to the dark on a hull when it's been in the water a couple days.  Not that it doesn't shine, but it looks dirty.  Cant seem to buff or color sand that out.  Hit it with some 400 grit, which helped, I don't want to sand too far though.  Any tips/tricks or readily available product that might help?  If it was a sink I'd use bleach, don't think that is good for the gel though.  Thanks

I sent some pics to your email, if you have trouble finding the gasket for the plate to the header let me know and I'll get the Mr Gasket number for you, might take a week or so though.

More info on how you boat and what happened to the other engines would be helpful.  What oil pan are you running?

PM's replied.  Also, I replaced the front bearing and the two seals. 

800.  The pump needs a bearing, the two seals and the packing.  Here is a pick of the impeller, looks like it can be fixed.  The pump shaft is out and the bearing is off.  I'd like to not have to part it out, just need the room. 

Tio, you know where King Bolt is off of Grand?  That's usually where I get my bolts.  X2 on the cad plated stuff.  (didn't know those were coming from overseas though)

I still have a pair of black bucket seats, sorry no pic, but if you ebay search JDM red stitch seats that's what they are.  One of the side bolsters on the base is broken but it's still attached and you cant tell unless you push it.  They are in excellent condition. I had them in my Jeep for about a month and then replaced them, seats with high sides don't work so well in that application.  Cloth.  Price.....come get them out of my garage and I'll even have a beer with you, I'm in Redondo Beach.  They even have the sliders.  Once again, FREE.  I hate to toss em if someone can use them.   

1982 Marlin Barracuda model.  NO ENGINE or battery.  I'm keeping those.  Good shape, has the usual scratches and chips but the gel is still shiny.  12JC pump. Diverter.  Needs an impeller, a friend managed to injest a few rocks and I'm not sure if it can be saved.  (its a B, was detailed by MPD).  Has an Ulitimate Wear Ring.  One of the stringers was pulling in where the engine mount is, I used a piece of 3/16 stainless plate to reinforce it.   Been that way now for 20 years.   They are full length stringers. I'm the second owner, had it since 1990.  All the gauges work.  All the cables move smoothly.  Interior decent.  30 gallon center mounted gas tank.  (which I was never too fond of, since it takes away some of the floor space).  Has a old sport loader or whatever they called them before they became fancy.  It's thru bolted.  2 bilge pumps.  Trailer decent, not real pretty but not ugly either.  Well, maybe a little.  All lights work and I redid the wires recently.  The wiring in the boat is even new and I used the proper colors.  (It used to run low 60's with a mild 350, did 70 with 4 people on board with the 383 that is currently there.)  All paperwork is in order and up to date.  Trailer has the PTI tag.  It will need an engine and the stuff to mount it, bellhousing and the driveshaft.  And the impeller.   It has a cover that will go with.  Like a lot of you, I like boats, but I don't have space for 3 and I just picked up a Rogers hull, so this one will have to go.  $1400.  I'll also sell it without the jet and diverter for $1000.   I haven't yanked the engine yet, so it is possible to arrange a test drive with some notice for anyone with a serious interest.  Thanks for looking, boat is in Diamond Bar.   Again, will be without engine.

Thanks, I'll have to look at the module, I'm headed there later to wax it up, make sure it starts and runs for one last river trip.  It's a Cobra, 1990 4.3, it has the original module.  It's a good little boat, holds more folks than my jet does, and my friends wife and kid aren't afraid of it since it's quiet.  The shift assist works, most of the time anyway.  I did some reading and most people seem to have issues when they switched to electronic ignition, I know Delco makes some kit but I'm not spending that kind of money.  I think it could use some help in the ignition department, I was thinking I'd put an MSD box on it and be done but I don't know how it would react if the shift assist kicked in.  Then I got to thinking maybe I could use the MSD rpm function as the shift assist.  I'll get the info on what's there and let you make a recommendation, thanks

For the experts on the MSD 6AL, I think that's it, the one that takes the limiter chip, is it possible to hook a switch the spot where the chip goes or rig something up so I could manually activate that function?  Thanks in advance,

They are in like new condition, one of the side bolsters along the bottom is broken, it's still attached but you can move it.  I had them in my Jeep, they are comfortable, but they don't work so well in that application, which is why the bolster broke, made it so you had to climb in as opposed to just hopping in and my friend broke the one when getting out of the Jeep after a day of wheelin.  They have the tracks on them , I don't have a pic handy, but they are the same ones as you see in that auction (that is not my auction either).  I only want $80.00 for the pair.  In Redondo Beach, but I am also in Diamond Bar from time to time.  I lowered the price to 80 they are in my way and I want them gone, anything interesting to trade?
