Place out here in Santa Clarita called KIng Kid Covers. They do all of Teague's canvas work and are top notch. He quoted me about 650 for a bimini with all stainless  or about 450 for aluminum

Random Boat Parts For Sale / FS exhaust snails
« on: August 29, 2011, 07:38:05 PM »
I have a set of Edelbrock 3" exhaust snails that originally came on my boat. they are very nice with only a few superficial scratches. they still have a decent polish on them and would take very little to bring them back to looking like new. All plugs and fittings are brass so no risk of pulling the treads if you wish to remove them. Asking $150 obo

Dude I feel your pain. About 5 months ago I started a new job working as a Fabricator for a custom equiptment shop and I got a chunk or metal in my eye right on the edge of the cornea had to have it "buffed out" what they really mean is drilled out lol put me in a patch for two days. I tried to go back to work that day but realised it was harder than hell to weld with one eye. Did I mention I was only a week into the new job and I was on probation. :screwy: Long story short I now make sure to wear my glasses (never did before)

Random Boat Parts For Sale / logs and OT pipes
« on: August 28, 2011, 12:05:33 PM »
Just like the title says, I have a set of Harman Marine long bolt logs for BBF with Gil OT pipes for sale. the logs are about an 8.5 out of ten and have a decent polish on them(not show quality but very nice). The Gils I would rate at an 8 out of 10, they have no cracks or rust/rot the weep holes are nice and not blown out and the chrome on the bells is still  very nice these pipes also come with the factory glasspack style muffler in them. the price for both is $300 but I am willing to separate the two.

I personally have no problem with paying 25 for a hat (really prefer a fitted?flexfit style) and would order more than one

I have one on the back of my truck in red (exactly the one you want) I got it from a neighbor that used to have a bunch of em and only had a couple left when i got mine. he said he had bought a grip load of them about 15 years ago at a swapmeet or something and that he hasnt been able to find any since. I had to beg and plead for mine

Yes we launched around  3:30 went for a hot lap (buddy is a lifeguard there, so no hassles) and headed for Elizabeth. we hung out for a few hours and then decided it was time to go for one more hot lap up the ski arm and ended up getting followed by the water cops all the way up.And yes I am sure I'll see you out there.

I agree good advise. If you are going the cruiser route I would also look at the Spectra's, they are a nice hull and can be had fairly cheap
