Re-measured the width of back seat - 65" from wood to wood if you take off the red piping from both sides.

Yea! Hammers are never supposed to be near engines! Especially during assembly.
You may have very well bent that thin timing cover plate if you forced it past the oil pan lip. But then, how did you get the half moon front seal to stay in place?
Those felpro gaskets are the best ones...make sure you torque to spec and in sequence

I'm in Ca 91342
From lots of experience...if the timing cover is assembled with silicone around the water ports on both sides of the timing cover and a little on the block off plate and torqued to spec...they never leak
My bet is the intake manifold... What gasket are you using?

Complete original interior removed from a 80's Tahiti 21 foot day cruiser.
Interior is in good original circa 80's condition, although there is some minor sun fading/surface imperfections.
Front seats measure : 24" wide x 23" front to back x 21" tall
Rear bench is : 65.5" wide x 20" front to back x 21" tall
Engine scoop is : 16" x 24" x 4"
I also have the seat bases that these were mounted on.
I'm asking $250/OBO for everything. I am located in San Fernando Valley CA 91342

Im selling a very nice Harwood dragster fiberglass scoop. Scoop has been professionally painted with base coat and clear coat. Scoop has no damage what so ever! Perfect condition and paint. Comes with a home made foam intake plug. No mounting tray.

For sale is a complete white and red vinyl interior removed from a 18.5' jet boat. This interior is in perfect condition with no rips or tears. All vinyl is soft and pliable. Wood is all solid and has stainless steel staples. Interior was done a few years ago and was never used as boat project was never finished.
