That's cool....family.. I live just outside Tupelo...about an hour South of Memphis....moved here cuz I was tired of dealing with the craziness in Southern California....lived there for 40 of my 54 years .... Newport / Huntington / Redondo mostly.

 I don't like traffic.   LOL.   Now it's a right out of the driveway ..4 miles...then a left and a right into my office.  Sometimes I have to stop at the traffic light they put in 6 months ago.

If yer ever in Memphis, I know some good places to chow some BBQ .. I'll buy ya lunch.

Mine is Just a stock JG with the wedge...that makes it simpler for me as my knowledge is limited ( obviously ) and very much appreciate the help. 

I had lurked multiple sites before joining this one. It was the only one where I saw actual 'help' that  seemed genuine..  and on a personal level the members interacted as friends...

Plus I am a bit of a smartass and saw I'd fit right in..    ;0)

Prepare yer Tri as usual.  Then:

2 small jars Inglehoffer Sweet hot mustard.....
2 oz. yellow mustard
2 oz grey Poupon mustard
3-4 oz honey
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp rough ground pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder

Mix together and slather on the last 15 min of cooking time on your Tri Tip
Let it brown a bit....   

TASTY!!!

Winter crop..... Haven't tried that yet.  ... I'm a novice gardner, going to try some early lettuce this year..... My past summer crop I'm still eating on: corn/ squash/ canned pickles and salsa.....

Update:   I got the boat for $150.00!

Brother in Law and his son in
Law decided to keep the Trl for a platform to make a utility Trl . They are going to unbolt the pump and disassemble the diverter to send to me.
Then in a couple months ill have em ship the pump and gauges/ misc items to So-Cal for me to hold at a friends house for further evaluation or for trade/sale/ or donation.
 Thanks for your thoughts and input.

It might be a hull buts thats stretching the definition....it has more than one hole in the bottom.....anyway I'm in Ole Miss and the float is in Oregon..... And it is in bad shape..5 years of Outside uncovered ..... And from the little frozen lakes in the cylinders to the cut stringers at some point left open...I'm fairly confident the rainy weather has infiltrated all the wood as well
.... It's time for that hull to be recycled....it's a donor now.

Junk is junk.... The hull is trashed.  My BIL will evaluate and either junk
Or repair and sell the Trailer..... block heads metal / send me the pump and controls and gauges misc hardware  ( if worth it) 
if I can get it for what he's asking. Even with shipping cost it's a deal.

I live in Mississippi the boat is in
Oregon, the engine is shot and has been sitting for 5 years (says the seller)
I really just want the diverter...my BIL will scrap the rest... If its legit then I get a deal on a diverter and an extra pump to trade sell etc... Hope it's not hot, and if it is, the cops will have then info and the owner will get his boat back!

It's listed on eBay , my brother in law is going over to pull hull reg and ID numbers and take photos and run em before I bid.

i could be wrong.....

I dont know...Ive never removed one myself.

Thats why I asked....i'm trying to keep my brother in law happy as its a favor for me. H'e NOT a boat guy by any stretch so I was looking for an easy removal method. I'm leaving it in his hands, but I will tell him unbolting it is a definite option...I know fibers will fly and theres that "itchy" thang when that happens.

a little further down the road on the winter project....new valve covers ...gaskets...exhaust studs....a little polish on the snails and logs......theres a slight water leak on the intake manifold so its coming off too....i guess now that I have cleaned up the logs, I'll hit the manifold too with some elbow grease.... the dist. too.... new remote oil filter set up coming, the rebuild kit for the carb is in as well as the new fuel log. Water lines to be replaced as well. My only wish was I had a  heated space to work on it....yesterday AM temp: 21 degrees..

The diverter should fit on your JG pump no problem, but you'll probably need a steeting extension.  :thumbup:
