 I wont add to the novel, but I will agree a 750 vac sec should work fine on a mild motor.  I ran one for years with no issues.  Easy to deal with, cheap on Ebay, and they work fine.

 BTW, that 3rd carb is not a 660.  Its some form of a DP, not a center squirter like a 660.

It really sucks having a boat full of hot chicks and you cant figure out  why  you  boat will not start

You might check with Mark Peterson (sangerpete on here), hes had a few flatbottom project and might have some extra parts around. Or he can point you in the right direction.

 If worse comes to worse, Billy (ironman on here) can make whatever you need, hes down here in Clovis too.  Come to think about it, I think Billy has a hydraulic setup for that sitting in his garage.

 In my uneducated opinion, the mod motor would be way cool.  I know there making lots of power out of those things and big turbos.

 If it was me though, I would start with the 460 you already have.  Get a new set of heads (bigger chambers), add a pair of turbos, and run the E85.  If you stick to that 800hp goal, and build it right, a pressurized 460 will last forever at that hp.

 Dont get me wrong, there wayyy cool looking, and I would buy one if it was cheap ($ 1500 max in that shape).  But they dont work real well as jets (lots of hulls out there that will be faster with the same HP).  Heres a link to the build thread OC2Vegas was talking about, really cool boat,  http://www.performanceboats.com/html/forums/showthread.php?t=1610&highlight=sanger+jet+hydro

 Bottom line, you can do way better then that for the money.

 $ 3500 for a hull and trailer, in this economy ??  I know its cool looking, but its still a jet hydro guys.  :screwy: 

 The good.
Its cool looking.
It has an intake.
It has a trailer.

 The bad.
I see primer.
Needs motor.
Needs jet.
Needs interior.
Very small, no interior room.
Heavy, bow heavy to be more specific
They sit really low in the water, dont think about taking that out on Bass Lake on a weekend. Your be fishing it off the bottom.
1/4 stringer boat, check the sub floor really good. most of the time it will be bad and you will be replacing the floor.

BTW, I remember that boat being FS last year, if I remember right it was around 4k complete.  :-\

 And Nordie,  Yours is real hydro (different animal), this is a tunnel shaped to look like a hydro.

Yea, its alumanum, it has a filler neck, vent line, and a threaded bung for a fuel pickup tube (no pickup tube in it), an old sending unit in it for a fuel guage, and 2 mounting tabs on one side of it.  Ill get a pic of it if you want.

 If you ever get over to the Fresno area, I have an old bow tank from a Tahiti.  Its 11 1/2 high, and 16 x 24,  $ 20.00.  I've never had fuel in it so I have no clue what kind of shape its in inside.

 Can anyone tell what kind of droop this is ??  Theres no name/part numbers on it, the only marking I can find is that small line by the flange.  It has a horizontal divider in it. Its on a Jacuzzi WJ pump, but I dont think it was made for a Jacuzzi because of the flange, looks like a Berk style droop.  ???
