I feel your pain with her energy level, but one of the best dogs I've ever had for sure.

Boxers are great dogs and very smart. If you go back a few pages theres a pic of my boxer his name is Bosco and hes a little under 100 lbs.

Jet Pumps / Re: impeller info
« on: February 27, 2011, 10:27:48 PM »
Aluminum is just fine for a low to med hp application, there is no need for a mag bronze or stainless impeller if you dont  have the torque or horse power to turn it.Remember bronze or stainless equals more weight and more rotating mass. Also the cut determines how high you want your motor to turn, from what I understand.

Jet Pumps / Re: berkley shaft seal replacement... need info

ok guys. Since this has turned into a full rebuild, i'm looking at trying to add a little pep to it.

My question is this...

Of the following, which offers the best bang-buck gain for a larger 23' daycruiser with 460BBF?
- Inducer
- Bowl Stuffer
- SS Pre-Loader

give the pump a blueprint and one of JBP's (i think) new clean out covers to reduce cavitation.

WTB / Re: Looking for a hand gun for the wife.
« on: February 07, 2011, 08:25:11 PM »
the guy was telling me about the difference between the 9mm and the 40 SW. Basically said if ya got a guy on drugs coming at you, you hit him with a 9mm he will keep coming, will go right thru em, meaning more shots, you hit em with a 40, DONE DEAL   Just my .02

True statement.  the .40 S&W kicks like a 9 but knocks down more like a .45

Hey Proppy that is exactly where the lower hose is. when you find the oil filter you have found the lower water hose, they share the same area on the "block" they should be on a removable cast piece.

WarZone / Re: wiring supplies ?
« on: January 23, 2011, 10:24:55 AM »
I second the summit suggestion. They sell it cheap by the  roll....different gauges and colors.

and harbor freight has good heat shrink stuff....and pick up a heat gun while you're there....cig lighters just dont cut it.

No lighters don't work thats why I use a butane torch works just fine  >:D
