7 seems a bit high to me maybe 5000-6k. But it's not really what it's worth but what it's worth to you. If an extra grand is worth your peace of mind go for it. And 160 on a c-machine aint nothing. They run an easy 600k if taken care of

Don't know if you call this "cool" but its what I do and I'm good at it, Plumber/handy man. Had to replace back to back shower valves in an ancient apartment. The tricky part is getting both hands in the hole so I can play with it lol. And in the one pic my hand isn't extended all the way.

Oh that's a good one. I'd start looking for another hull. That's gonna be a expensive fix once the gel coat comes into the equation

Take a wet suite. I had my boat up there a few weeks back. Water was ice cold motor never saw over 100. I dropped 4 jet sizes on the primaries and she ran alright up there.

Well went and looked at the sleek and it was rough. It was a savable solid project but there were some spots on the bottom that worried me and there was no way I was gonna flip a boat that big upside down and work the bottom. On to the next one i guess but I will say I definitely want a ambassador one day

They have plywood I can't remember the technical term but where I get it they call it flexiboard. It's a full size sheet available in different thickness and it runs about 20 bucks more than a regular sheet. It's glued with all the layers grained the same way so it flexes a good amount one way but is ridgid the other. If you can find it its worth it. Really you'll only need half a sheet for the backs and a regular sheet of plywood for the bottoms.

I have been to dumont a few times and didnt really care for it. But glamis on the other hand, 2 1/2hr drive and I'm there. I'm down to make a trip, although I'm not an old fart. I still ride a bike. Be nice to break my brother in with a large group of guys around, this coming season will be his first trip to the sand.

Everyone wants a loud boat Glenn duhhhh.
But me i say no only because I like being able to crawl around the boat after I shut down and don't ave to worry about getting burned. And remember the louder the boat the more attention you get both good and bad.
