River outlaws would be fun, but would be extremely hard with a crowd to pull off.

"RTCP"
I agree. With the right planing it could go down no problem. I say it would have to be the middle of the week.

SCJB Top 10 List / Re: SCJB top 10 list.

I heard a rumor a few guys in big river tried to actually put together a 'river outlaws' but it only lasted 1 round. I'd love to put something together and film it. Just hard to get everyone at the river at the same time.
Yeah, I herd it too. Iam down to help put something together. Just have to coordinate with everybody??
I would say it would have to be 1000ft to give the tunnel boats a chance. From a dig flag start?

The No Wake Zone / Lake McSwain Boat Drags
« on: June 01, 2015, 10:44:49 AM »
Yeah we were there. It was a complete lack of management on Dave LaPinskis part. The rescue boat situation was know about on Friday( not saturday)....... I don't want to bash the CHBA, but there safety boats were a joke. If a pro boat crashed it would have been big trouble. I want to say thank you to the NJBA Mike DeClark and Ken Doller who did everything in there power to make it happen. NJBA guys left the race and went and got there rescue boats! Long haul for no show.

We need to keep an open mind about this guys. This event didn't help drag boat racing one bit. But it could be an amazing venue with tons of potential.
If they do have drag boats back, we will be there. 👍

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Re: Dry sump oil system
« on: May 28, 2015, 11:04:02 PM »

Nope, not even worth the huge expense for what you would gain at our level. Only at the highest levels of competition where they look for every last hp and money is no object due to sponsors flipping the bill just to get that much closer to the winner circle. The cost is almost $5,000 to install and plumb a dry sump system to possibly gain 25-40hp. Benefits are only in the very high RPM ranges like 8,500-11,500 like in pro stock where windage can rob hp and creating so many inches of vacuum in the crank case help ring seal and all together are part of a recipe for internal friction reduction. Find another worthwhile place to spend money that would show a larger performance improvement on your boat.
Exactly! Good stuff right here, not worth the cash. If your looking to gain a few hp's I mite say add a vacuume pump?

that sounds like a good idea too since we have a spot at riviera. Just sucks to miss parking lot party

"RTCP"
Yeah, the drive isn't bad. I'll most likely drive up Saturday morning and hang out. I am not in the middle of building a boat this year so I should make it.
