 I'm tearing the motor out of little Eliminator this week.  Last chance before it goes on craigslist. 

 73 Eliminator jet.
 $1700  obo, complete (minus motor), with a rebuildable JC pump (polished bowl).  Thats, boat, trailer (w/ swing away toung), seats (2), rail kit (8 ft rails)with BBF motor plates (all polished), fuel tanks (polished), pump brace (polished) alternator and mounts (drives from the front of the pump), diverter (polished), water pressure regulator, gauges, steering, driveline,  No headers (I might need them).  Basicaly everything you need except a motor, headers, and a pump rebuild kit.   If you move the battery to the back of the boat there is plenty of room to add a back seat.  Titles and current reg on boat and trailer.

 2 weeks ago a Mendota, stiil needs some fine tunning on the plates but its getting there.

 73 Eliminator flatbottom.
$800 SOLD  It has a 10 deg V-drive (Casale split case), BBC motor plates, no seats, steering works and V-drive goes in and out of gear and turns easily,  cav plates with handle only (no down pedal), some kind of 2 blade prop, a pair of big meat cleaver looking fins under it, and a decent tandum trailer (no paper work on trailer).  Hull is BADLY delaminated, this is parts in the form of a boat.  Hull has title and current reg.

 

Yep, Summer is over.  I took the boat out today for my last trip of the year.  I stood at the ramp and looked around, sunny but, cold, windy, generally ugly.  Didn't even put the boat in the water, just turned around and came home.  Why waist the fuel if its not going to be a nice day.

 Ive been on a Hobie before.  Fun little toys, until you have to flip it back over in the middle of the lake  .  But, big sailboats SUCK !!!!!! They are mind numbingly boring and should be outlawed.

I thought you had to put a metal pipe up the intake and check for shavings. if it grated the pipe you were good! Damn, been doing it wrong!

 Thats a good way too, but sticks are free and I always need wood chips for the planters. 

 BTW,  If the boats not as fast as it should be, dont bother rebuilding the pump.  Just smear a bunch of sillycone around the impeller. It works wonders.

 Dont worry about it Tom.  Cats are nocturnal and always just lay around and play dead during the day.  Little Leo has brought me a few of them that acted just like that (lazy bastards). 

 Although that one looks to have a small problem with its fur.

yeap it has the delta bottom.it runs hard the way i have it now and runs 75 all day long but i wouldnt mind some more .i love this boat and when i go to the river or naci all i get are compliments on how clean it is. maybe if i finish my vdrive then i will spend more money on this hull.

 That would be my choice.  Its way to nice to sell, you would regret it.  And I dought if you could find another one that nice later if you changed your mind.

 Ummm, You might want to reread SnoC653s post.  I don't think he was talking about the boat  .  And I really don't see any need for any bottom work for the GF / wife.

 Does your BOAT have the delta bottom ?  I heard some of the later ones had a round keel (or was that the bubble decks  ).

 Now that's my kind of Internet porn !!!!    Someday I will add one of these to my collection. 

you sure its a sprint? looks like a older semi v hull which had the set cav plates on each side of the pump

 Your right Just Electric, Its the same hull as mine (the old semi V), the actual Sprints came later (a combo of stretched Eliminator bubble deck bottom (southwind) and a Beismeyer deck).  But for some reason lots of people still call these old hulls Sprints  .

 SnoC653, Nice to see your working on it finally. I saw over on the other site (that V-drive place  ) that you where working on that fugly old flatbottom  .   I knew you wouldnt be able to work on that barge with the beautiful lines of this hull distracting you  .

 BTW, I know the Eliminator and the green thing, but whats the 3rd boat in the pic ??

Yea, its going to be a nice one.  I just hope we have enough water next year to use them.

Omar as long as its not a delta , set it back, breach the hull at the back its plenty strong and get the cleanout so a 1/4 inch plate will clear between the cleanout boss on the intake and the back of the transom IF the inner transom design permits start with a standard length 1310 DL and go drive it, make motor movements , wedges, droops etc etc from there  , as I remember the "dead back of the transom to the front of the intake cut out will be 19.5 Just my 02 Tom
