« on: May 17, 2014, 03:13:53 PM »
The carb was all outta whack floats are f ed up wasn't letting fuel into one side, I guess from him turning it over and turning it over was building  pressure and coming outta the dip stick, that and the dip stick was broken and didn't seal. Drew had a carb we swapped it out and adjusted the idle. All is good no oil and purrs like a kitty.

I want to thank all of you for the well wishes and texts. So my Arteries are open which is great. They believe the heart attack was cause by high blood pressure, high cholesterol & high stress. All of these things  are very manageable I'm a high stress guy and so that's what I really have to work on but you can't bet I will be getting that under control I don't want to do this again. Today another EKG and a check on my incision if all is good I should be getting out today. Again thank you all my jet boat family for all your well wishes and Tony Bartel what the heck is wrong with your phone I tried to reply 3 times to your text and it won't go through. See you all fathers day weekend but I will from now on have a Perrier in my hand instead of a coors light. :)

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Re: Fuel consumption/Rio Classic
« on: May 16, 2014, 07:37:35 AM »

After thinking about it some more...

The fun factor is directly related to the tachometer, so your question is pointless.

You need to plan on using all your fuel every time you take it out, and just understand that you will have to adjust the length of your trip based on how much fun you have.  ;)
.  That right there is the best advise for any jet boat owner!!!!

does it do this wide open too?maybe too lean,
 Bump the jets 74 76
. Im not a bbc mechanically inclined guy so my uncle handles all my motor issues for my boat but I build 2 strokes for fun that produce a good amount of power and when I tune them and there popping it's because there too lean!! I agree with jake maybe go bigger jetting see how she reacts.

The appearance has nothing to do with it my buddy's dad 45 ran 2/3 miles a day ate like shit and drank hard hard alky had a heart attack and died and everyone was in shock cause he "ran" daily and tried to eat healthy. This is definitely life changing for you and your family. I'm a big guy my self I'm 6'6" and I now weigh 289 lbs I started off with diet and exercise a few months ago losing weight here and there it's not till I cut major part of the alky and sugars out that it's really paying off I'm down from 310.Keep ur head up and do it for ur family... Always know ur  SoCal family is here for u day or night!!!!

I wasn't sure if that was youse guise. The floats looked familiar, but I'm terrible with that kind of shit lol. I did check my phone for a text, the trip was kind of unplanned so I didn't post, it was a **** this shit I need to drive fast.

I'll be out memorial and for Chris' wedding on the 7th of June, should be a great season. I got into that storage you're all in and it's nice. I'm digging that so far.
