Just once a season?  I thought it broke down and you lose protection after a couple of months.  Full syn gives the best protection is the concensus I'd imagine.  Straight 50W it is.  Anyone on the RPM?

What type of oil do you all use?  455 Olds here not sure what weight is supposed to be in it.  As far as I know its mostly stock but bored out .30 over.  The guy I bought it from says he ran straight 30 but I thought that was too light.  I ran it pretty good all weekend but it def needs an oil change.  About how often every 20 hrs or so?  And whats a good RPM limit?  Not that I can tell cuz the tach was bouncing all over the fucking place.

Yeah I havnt gotten around to it yet.  Maybe it was the current in the canyon that was really the problem.  Does a rudder help all that much?  I was thinking of replacing it but I don't know yet.  First time out was this weekend, maybe I will have to get out again and mess around with it to see how well I can manuever.  Being in the canyon was nightmare, I'm surprise I got outta there unscathed.  I like the sandbar much better.

I have a through transome exhaust for 455 olds.  Don't know what they are worth, in ok shape can take pics.  For sale or trade.  Maybe a used place diverter for a berkeley pump or something I don't know.  Let me know.  Thanks.

Hmmm, I will conceed that.  Just trying to make the point that there are some places that kids shouldn't be.  That was more of what I was trying to point out than saying all of vegas is strictly for people over 21.  I just don't want to here about it everytime I go up there and some lady is sitting there playing the slots while a baby sits in the stroller.  (True story)  And I'm the bad guy having a good time drinking and playing cards.  Not saying don't bring your kids there or anywhere for that matter.  Just be aware of the surroundings and what is going on.  I'm sure as hell not taking my son out on the strip or anyplace where there is alot of drunkin misbehaving going on. 

I mean cmon, its more like 99% of the cruisers aren't doing 120 and pulling wheelies.  But I understand the point.  Just annoying is all I'm saying.  Same thing on the water, I'm sure someone is going to hassle me for the pipes being too loud, even though they aren't.

I'm of the opinion that darts, shuffle board, beer pong tables and pool tables should all be required equipment in a drinkin atmosphere.  When I lived in delaware we used to go to this place called the Stone Balloon.  What made this place great:

1.  Mug night on thursdays.  50 cent Nati Light Drafts all night long.
2.  Good live music on thursdays and sometimes saturdays
3.  2 dollar everything on every fu**ing saturday. thats right you want a L.I. ice tea? 2 bucks its yours
4.  The University of Delaware campus is about 2 minutes away which = loads of hot 21 year olds shakin their asses for my viewing pleasure
5.  It's dark, its simply furnished, the stage is made of plywood painted black and everyone doesn't give a damn
6.  Everyone has a great time in there
7.  The cover is usually 5 bucks
8.  Oh yeah, did I mention the hot college bitches that get hammered and want to hook up

Yes there are always stupid people doing stupid things.  While unfortunate, I will share a story myself.  In 2005, a mini van loaded with kids pulled out directly in front of one of my friends.  They were riding bikes.  Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe the kids distracted her, maybe she should not of been driving at all due to bad eyesight.  While this may not sound bad, my friend was killed.  I wasn't there I had moved to NY.  He and a group of guys we ride with were heading down to Wilmington.  If I had been there I more than likely would have been riding along.  I was very upset as you can imagine, but I really sat down and thought about it.  Who should I be mad at?  Motorala for manufacturing the cell phone she was on?  Or Chrysler for making that particular van?  Or her kids for distracting her?  Or women because they are shitty drivers and don't pay attention?  Or myself for not being there?  The answer I came up with was none of the above.  So do to one asshole, I cannot say that I now hate all jet ski's.  It's just not my nature.  Not to put a damper on things, but its just a different point of view.  I received the same kind of treatment when I was riding my bike.  I didn't stunt, I just liked to ride.  It's amazing how many times I got pulled over to " check the license and registration ".  One time, we were riding in a group (cops love to stop the group) cop pulled us over and didn't run my stuff.  Said he knew my bike.  How's that for profiling, when you get pulled over and they know your clean cuz they stopped your ass 6 days ago. 

LOL nats thats funny.  Never heard em called that before.  I'm not real big on the rooster tail it wasn't a must have item for me anyway.  If I find a good deal on one I might pick one up.  And jet skis really don't bother me anyway. 

Thanks, I paid 5300 for it, do you think it was a good deal?  The motor and jet are rebuilt, everything works the interior is in good shape.  The only things it needs are gas and water.
