Last spring I replaced my fuel pump with a Carter and it died this year just after the warranty expired lol. I haven't even gotten the boat wet yet this year!!!

So I decided to break down and buy a better pump. I ended up with a Aeromotive SS pump and TFS regulator. 140gph, 14psi. Feel embarrassed putting that beautiful thing in my gnarly, ratty looking engine bay lol. It's going to be the best part looking part in there! Anyway, I went with the Aeromotive since it will supply more than enough fuel for this stock motor and my next stroker project (after paint, interior, rewire, etc lol). The rubber hose was only 2 years old, but already getting dried out so I decided to replace it too. I decided since I was staying with rubber hose this time, to buy the Mr. Gasket high flow 90 degree fittings (dang those things are expensive!!!). I plan to upgrade to push lock style hose this coming winter. I also need to re-wire this boat (got a rat's nest for wiring).
Questions about wiring. I haven't figured out 100% how I'm going to wire the pump in, I was thinking of positive direct to Battery and negative to switch on dash and then back to block. But Tom at JBP said I should run a relay. I'd like to run a relay, but not sure what relay to get and too cheap/broke to buy a kit. Maybe someone will know what parts to get so I can do it myself. If anyone knows, please let me know what to do/get!
I now have to get my lazy butt up early tomorrow and get to it (too hot to work on it now lol).
Thanks,
Sam
