The No Wake Zone / Newbie here- Looking at this Boat!

Hey all! Been cruising this board for the last 6 mos and you all seem very helpful. 
Been looking for my first Jet Boat (practical vs. really want that one), though I've been around them since I was 10, mostly Sanger Hydro's in mid late 70's. I have had 2 Polaris' for 17 years now and worked on my Dad's Tri hull and old Aluminum fishing boats since I was using them since I was a kid.
So I was at the river this weekend and ran across this Essex. There does not seem to be a lot of them out there in a 20.5, just going by all my google searches /
Looking for a little advice, comments, what to look for, value, etc.
It is a 1993 Essex Espirit Magnum, 454, Berkeley jet, hyd jetovator, dual batteries, Hydraulic deck lid, all original interior, well maintained (from what I can tell), new starter, alt, rebuilt carb, tune up. It is a 2 owner boat and always garaged. I can get it for $5,000.00
