Complete Mondello built engine some time back in the 90s I believe. 461". Tunnel with 2 600s. All the oil mods. Worked bottom end. Ported heads. Guessing somewhere in the 475-525hp range. It sure makes a lot of noise. Oh, and it's for sale too.

I'll be looking for a winger most likely once I sell the purple thing. At least that's the plan. Any hull that can handle 120 will work though, not that I think I will be going that fast.

Yeah, the sbe 6.0 wouldn't really be too pricey in the grand scheme of things but I figure if I'm going to do it may as well do it right. Plus my engine guy said that I have to do at least rods and pistons so may as well toss in a crank and pick up strength and 40ci. Same goes for the heads. 317s would have been enough to get the job done and a hell of a lot cheaper but why not go with a good set of cnc ported heads to make it that much easier. It's only money, right? Plus I'm going to have so much more of it now that I'm not drinking and smoking it.

Figuring out the game plan. Was going to go sbe 6.0 but now I'm thinking more along the lines of a 408 with some good TFR or AFR heads and either a big single or twins. If all goes as planned should be 550-600 NA and no problem pushing 4 digits on pump gas. We'll see what this winter brings. Already have a truck project that needs to get finished and my engine guy wouldn't be too happy if I started building an engine for a boat I don't have yet when my engine and truck are at his house.

Lots of ls guys running a lot more nitrous than I plan to.
Setting it up for approx 150
There is a guy at my friends race shop that is spraying 500 on a stock bottom end 5.3. Has a cam, edelbrock intake, and a carb. That little fox body moves out pretty good.

Yeah, I started smoking at like 14. Then started dipping at 18. Did both for a while. Stopped one then did the other and back and forth. Time to get back into shape and smoking a lot doesn't exactly go with conditioning. Gonna miss these silver bullets and fireball but it will be worth it. Better get back to drinking and finishing this pack of smokes.

I did it before. Quit drinking for 5 months and smoking for over 9. Once I drink I want to smoke. I figure I should spend quit a bit less just from drinking. Sadly most everything we do involves drinking, oh well. 16 years of smoking, it's time to stop.
